Just wanted to say hello to everybody. I've been lurking for about a year, and finally decided to sign up.

Been vaping off and on for 11 months, and finally succeeded in dropping analogs altogether about 3 months ago.

Congrats on quitting! What made you decide to fully give it up?

I'd smoked for nearly 20 years (2 packs a day for the last 10).

My girlfriend is a throat cancer survivor (and the type of cancer she had has a 76% return rate) and we now have an 11 month old son.

I'd tried patches (with varying degrees of success) and cold turkey (with no success at all), and this is the only thing that's helped.

I'd rather be alive 20 years from now.

So, rather than puff away on a cancer stick and stink up a room, I'm happily vaping away on an MVP2/rda.

I just had a physical today (job related) and I asked the doc how my lungs sounded. She said they sounded extremely clear, and wouldn't have guessed that I had ever smoked at all.
