Hey guys & gals, my names John & I just wanted to say hello, I've quit smoking analogs a few months ago, started my switch with one of those mall kits & winded up ordering a puresmoker v3 by the second week, been using it, mostly at 6v for a while now & pretty happy with it so far. just wanted to say hi & get a few posts in so I can pm bass for some juice :) also have questions & such that I of course have, but for now just hello :)

thank for the welcomes & yeah, it does feel good I guess, but I also can't help thinking that I don't really feel like I quit anything. more like just switching one addiction for another... I know that if you took away my ecig that I'd have no choice but to go out & get a pack of analogs, so in that sense I don't really feel like I successfully quit yet tbh,

but I do def feel like it's at least a step in the right direction. I have started with & stuck to 16mg juice so far... going to see if I can also get some 8mg & see how I can deal with that. I guess in the end though even if I don't fully quit, at least chances are that the ecig is the lesser of the evils... hopefully at least:p

Nicotine is not the cancer causer here, it's the other 4000 chems, , I figure I'll give up my nicotine right after I give up my caffeine, alcohol, sugar, fried foods, steak, poker playing,.........ummm, maybe no time soon. LOL

well I guess I think of the "who knows what the long term effects are"... I guess I'd rather think theres a chance that these could also not be good for you long term, rather than just convincing myself it's wonderful & all... but yeah, I hear all the claims & here all the opinions & a big part of me wants to whole heartly agree with it & just believe, but then theres the part that feels like I'm being a bit too optimistic just believing 100% without questioning... then theres the "too good to be true" thoughts too... that nagging feeling that the real long term results may not be as great as originally being lead to believe. I guess in the end I do believe they are better than analogs which is why I switched in the first place though , I mean logic just leads me to believe it to a certain extent at least :)

Congrats on giving up the analogs!
For every analog you've didn't smoke, you've avoided 1000's of other toxic chemicals.
I'm not sure that we all(ECF members) believe that vaping is the "best" thing, but I am sure that most of us believe that it beats the cigarette habit that we all desperately wanted to escape from.
Welcome to the forum, and best of luck.
