Hi guys, I'm 21, called Paul and I study at Leeds Uni.
Basically I've started smoking and want to stop, so planning on getting a e-cig to help me do this...
However, I have no idea which brands / models / places to shop are good or bad so I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction.

I really would like something thats as close to a real cig as possible in size and feel, but at the same time I think I want to get on of those black ones with a blue LED, just because I think they look cool...

Price isn't really an issue - if it helps me stop smoking i'll save a fair bit of cash anyway!

Look forward to spending plenty more time on the forums, and thanks to anyone who gives me some advice :)

Paul

Hi there....

3 UK companies that I can personally reccommend (in no particular order) are:

Electronic Cigarettes, Electric Cigarette, E-Cigarettes, E-Cig, E-Liquid
Electronic Cigarette e-liquid / Totally Wicked e-Liquid / Electronic Cigarette e-liquid shop
The E-Cigs Academy

I personally use the EVOlution from intellicig, but I would suggest that you have a look at these retailers, then have a search on this forum to see what others say about each model.... if you look at as many opinions as possible, it will give you a good balanced view of each device and you can work out which would work best for you. ;)

Hi Paul:

Welcome to ECF. I would suggest the Titan kit to you. Check them out at the Totally Wicked site in the UK (up top hit suppliers). Dura-C, 510, Titan, Yeti and now the Versus are all simular, with the Dura-C being the first of it's kind. Make sure to order manual batteries for a better experience and a bottle of liquid to start.

If you purchase it and decide you like it, you may then want to pick up the PCC charging case (it recharges your batteries on the go. And a USB passthrough for use at the computer (to save your batteries for going out). Of course extra blank cartridges are always nice to have on hand too, so you can prefill some and have them ready to go. That is unless your find yourself to be a dripper, in that case you won't need too many cartridges.

Good Luck to you.

Hi Azz3H. I am also very new to all this. I am thinking of getting a Titan510 but the choice is totally bewildering as I am sure you have found. What I can say is DO NOT get a Gamucci! Sadly I did, and although it is still working at the moment (I have had it a week) from what people say here, I don't expect it to for much longer!

Good luck!
