Hello from your new newest newby

Hello all...my name is Jeff Monson. I quit smoking cigarettes on August 2, 2010 (my 40th birthday). I had ordered an e-cig from the first site I saw and turned out it didn't work very well. After hitting Google and discovering all the e-cig support (wish I had done that from the start!), I purchased a DSE905, then purchased a Joye 510 after a couple weeks. Thanks for all the posts and YouTube videos on how to work these things! I have gotten several people at work to switch from cigarettes (analogs???) to e-cigarettes and I'm now their "coach", for lack of a better term. I do use the pyramid tea bag mod and I like the 555 e-liquid. I did order some vanilla flavor...tasted like I sprayed Tim McGraw's new cologne directly into my mouth. Also got some coffee flavor...if I got that flavor from Starbucks I'd talk to the manager and get someone fired. Any advice on good e-liquid suppliers? Again, thanks for all the support and I look forward to chatting with you.

I like Freedom smoke USA, and vapor bomb, but taste is subjective. That is part of the adventure of vaping.
I highly recommend getting sample sizes from a few vendors to see what you like.
The cappuccino smooth from FSUSA is very good.

Welcome! Taste is very suggestive, You will have tio try them all till you find the one that is right for you! I tend to be a cinnomon and menthol lover. Nothing else has been real exciting for me Just look at any of the supporting suppliers and you may want to check out the Pay it forward thread to trade around flavors when you get a few more posts.

congrats on your new obsession! Sounds like you're settling in fine.. now once you find some great juice, you will be all set and ready to go!

If you look through here, these are all of the forum suppliers.. I am positive you will find a few you like. Forum Suppliers I, personally, go with vaporbomb, or Msts bakery, and always looking to try new ones! You will find mind blowing flavors compared to the cologne you just inhaled!

Welcome to ECF and congrats on getting off analogs, I am 46 and I know it was no small feat. I have only dealt with 2 suppliers for juice and have had good experience with both and both sell sample sizes with cheap shipping. Both Wet Your Stick E-Liquid and FreedomSmokeUSA are very good and have great customer service if you need to ask questions.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on switching over to vaping!

I like the juices from FreedomSmokeUSA, Tasty Vapor and Johnson Creek. But as jjrose pointed out, taste is subjective and finding juices you like really IS part of the adventure... So enjoy the ride! FSUSA offers some sampler flavors along with smaller 5ml bottles if you want to try several flavors without making too much of an investment. Might be worth a look!

I find the 905 just seems to work best with the 510 atty's (you need a 901-510 adapter if it didn't already come in the kit). But you have 2 very nice kits to start with and that's half the battle!

Hi Jeff, Welcome to the forum! What a great 40th birthday gift you gave yourself. I too am a 555 user. I have tried many of the food flavors, but I always seem to end up back with the 555. I have found that it works well as a base to add a hint of flavor to ( 5 drops 555 with 1 drop of vanilla or clove or....) My favorite combo so far is 3 parts 555 to 1 part Key Lime Freeze. Makes me dream of walking along the beaches in Puerto Rico Enjoy!
