Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself.
An Ex-pat ("Yank") living in Australia for the past 20+ years.
I've struggled with smoking for a long time now. "Officially" quit in '95 but was on the gum for 5 years.
Used the drug, forgot what the first one was, in 2000 and that worked till 2004 then fell off the wagon for a year and then got off of them with Champix. That worked for a while but the social scene caught up with me and I started having the odd one with drinks and then would go on & off for anything up to a month at a time. I just decided to stay on the Nicorret mints until I read about ecigs.
The mints were costing me $30.00 a week so vaping looked like a cheaper alternative (after the hardware and other toys) and I've pretty much decided that nicotine is a thing that I'm going to have to live with.
I've been vaping now for about 3 weeks. Started with an eGo C twist and now have a Provari mini with a Zen Atty, iTaste SVD, K-Pro 2, IGO W,Vivinova, iClear 30. I do some coil building and DIY juice but just starting out with both.
I've lurked on ECF for a while now and really appreciate all the great information the I've gathered so a big thanks to all the contributors.

Same here brother (oops - or sister)! I've got about $500.00 worth (Australian $ of course - a US $8.00 tin of tobacco costs $$45.00 here) of pipe tobacco so my tastes are a bit more elaborate than standard stinkies. I'm researching how to extract but I'm way cautious about extracting any bad chems in the process. I've heard good things about "London" ejuice from Want2Vape so I've got some on order. Dang, it's a long wait to Tasmania!
