Hey guys!

I quit smoking several months ago (YAY!)--buuuuut ...

I am craving "smoking" and have gained weight because of it.

I am not craving nicotine or the taste of cigs --- just the smoking part. If that makes sense, lol.

I have decided to get an E-Cig on payday and had a question.

I am a big natural buff and want to use only a natural liquid in the E-cig. What would I use?
VG (Not PG) mixed with what? I am very new to this and have only been researching--never tried an ecig before.

If there is a thread dedicated to this I must have missed it. My search results turn up nothing.

I do not want nicotine or flavoring if that's possible.

Thank you very much guys!

Hello and welcome to ecf.

Ejuice flavorings have no calories and many vendors here offer a zero nic. I have actually lost weight after I started vaping. With all of the great flavors out there, you can get your sweet tooth satisfied without worrying about gaining weight. For me, my main goal was to get of analogs. The weight loss was just an added benefit.
good Luck

Thanks for the reply SAS! :)

I wasn't worried about the calories in E-cigs. I was thinking how I would not eat as much crap and be less stressed if I had a cig in my mouth. I gained over 10 pounds when I stopped smoking. :(

I was looking for 100% natural liquid. I would prefer to make my own.

I see people using VG (love my glycerin!) and was wondering what else is in the liquids people make. Are they using natural food grade essential oils?

What would a very basic, unflavored glycerin recipe liquid contain?

This is exciting to talk about and I can't wait to order. I just want to make sure to get it right before I make my own liquid.

Thanks very much!

-Jocie.

I really don't make my own juice....don't seem to have what it takes. I've made more messes tho. lol. From what I know, you need to use food grade ingredients. Oils are bad for the equipment and maybe for your health. You can vape straight vg liquid, but with it being thick, it could gunk up the atties quickly. There are some members that don't use flavorings so maybe they will chime in here. Wish I could have been more help.

Jocie, there are a few DIY juice threads here. Maybe you can find more answers. I linked one below...I haven't tried mixing my own, but from what I hear, it's pretty basic, altho to get good flavors is more of an art and takes lots of practice I bet....anyway, most are mixes of some vg or pg, some flavor, some nicotine... Of course you don't want the nic in yours, and maybe no flavor either...go here and look around...hope you find what you need...And welcome aboard.

There is a vendor that sells "organic" juices. Not sure what that means and I forget the vendor (I don't do organic anything). But if you did a search on organic I'm sure you could find them. You can email the store and ask questions. Most ecig vendors are more than happy to help anyone with questions/concerns. Although if you really don't want any flavoring then I guess the VG/distilled water will work for you. And it sounds like it would be really cheap too!

Jocie,
I've been vaping for over a month now and have mostly used VG with 10% water. The water helps to thin out the VG, making it much easier to work with. I still have my nic; but that shouldn't make a difference for you. (Although the past few days have been using my MadVapes Minthol more).
The VG is nice for the large amount of vapor produced; it seems to be important for me at the moment in keeping away from the analogs.

If you're really into health and what not you should check out lung juice. Not sure if I can say the vendor on here but PM me and I'll send it to you. It has some sort of organic ingredients to promote healing your lungs and other organs when you vape it. Idk if it's what you're looking for just a thought.

That would be NHaler Lung Juice.

And yes, Vaperite is the place with "organic" and/or "natural" juices.
