Hello! I'm almost vaping!!

Hey everyone,
I'm brand-spankin'-new to this whole e cig thing. I do vaporize my ......... (what can you expect - I live in British Columbia, Canada) so I'm familiar with how to take a vape toke from a manual pipe using a lighter, and I also have a volcano, but I've never tried these e cigs yet. If it's anything like my other adventures into vaporizing, I'm sure I will be overjoyed at my new purchase.

Just half an hour ago my lovely 510 just arrived! My first ecig!

Needless to say I'm am overjoyed and ecstatic! I read somewhere on the forums that it's not really needed to charge the battery for 8 hours, provided you wait for the light to go green. So I have 2 questions for anyone willing to answer:

1. Is this true? Can I vape before 8 hours is up? I'M SO IMPATIENT! 8)
2. How long before the light will go green (roughly)?

Hey! got my 510 kit 2 weeks ago and its great. the info in the kit said the battery was fully charged. i vaped right away. go ahead give it a try! mine will recharge in about 3 hours. good luck!

Welcome!! I'm still a newb here - only been vaping 3 weeks. I researched this question when I recieved my first 510 kit. These are lithium ion batteries so no need to wait 8 hrs. My first batts only took about 20 minutes to charge. When the charger light turns green vape away.

Thanks guys! I just took the advice and I have to say... this is AMAZING!
The kit I bought came with strawberry non-nic liquid. I topped it off with some medium strength white toblerone and the mixing of the two tastes works great!

I even got my Mom to try vaporizing the non-nic liquid and it was hilarious to see all that vapour come pouring out of her nose.

I'm incredibly stoked to keep vaping for a long time to come! I'm a dancer so I found that cigarettes were massively depleting my lung capacity and stamina. I suppose I'm going to see what the difference is when I go to dance.
