My first e cig experience

How's it going all... I'm new to this e cig gig, and I just recieved my new kit from e puffer early this afternoon, but I'm a little confused about the first initial charge it's telling me to charge the battery for 8 hours, but when I threw it on the charger the red light changed to green after about 3 hours??? did I do something wrong, or should I just leave it alone and let it charge? cause actually I already used it for about an hour or so off and on before the battery went dead kinda weird.... almost like it was half charged before it arrived, so being that it states in the directions that it must have a full 8 hour charge before use and 3-4 hours there after...my gut feeling was to just keep her charging til the 8 hours are up, AM I WRONG TO DO SO ?? PLEASE HELP THIS ROOKIE....LOL I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE CAN CORRECT MY INCOMPETENCE

Ignore the light. Do the initial eight hour charge, then three to four hours after that.

Thanks a lot blue... I kinda figured by the piss poor instructions that were written in the manual8-oI'm just glad that this forum exists, otherwise I'd be pulling what little hair that I have left outyou folks are a godsend!
