Hi everyone,

I'm new, and I'm really happy to have found your forum. I've been a smoker for the past 30 years, and wanted to quit for a couple of reasons. Mostly for my health, then the cost, (cigs are expensive).

My husband decided a few days ago to try out an e-cig and asked me if I'd be interested. I said sure, and he purchased two of the Blu e-cigs from our local Walgreens. I liked it, it was ok, very different from smoking an analog cigarette and I decided to give it a try and see if I could give up the analogs.

That was two days ago and I've been analog free so far. That evening he ordered a set of volts and some sampler flavor cartridges from SmokelessImage and they came in today.

Wow, what a huge, difference. These are so much better than the Blu's. Much, much smoother.

My favorite flavor is chocolate. I also tried the cherry, which was ok, but not as good as the chocolate. I haven't tried the other flavors yet, but I'm impressed with these.

It's nice to be here and I look forward to reading more on the forums.

You've made a good choice with your Volt spinners, according to comments I've read here. I'm thinking of getting one myself so I can try cartos. My eGo batteries won't work with 510-threaded juice-holders so all I've tried so far are the clearomizers that are made for my batteries.

Hello fellow vaper I am also from Massachusetts. I find it really annoying that there is no really great shops around, but ordering online isn't too bad. A lot of places ship out of N.Y. or N.J. so is only a few day waiting.
I started with blu but it didn't stick, so I moved to a bigger setup and its totally different, if you want to drop the money the ego Vamo is a great investment if your looking for something smaller and less complicated check out the ego twist. Both are great. I would also suggest backwoods brew for liquids they are out of N.Y. and make great tobacco flavors.

Hey all- I moved out of MA about 5 years ago. I was just back up in MA for a week (during the blizzard of course) and before I went I googled to see who had supplies near the NH border in case I ran out. Headlines in Nashua carries supplies, I don't know what all they have but they were listed. I was going to pop into Two Guys Smoke Shop too but the storm hit and we didn't make it back that way. I will update as I find more as I left my son a couple of batteries, a clearomizer and some juice and sent him a mess of carts. As he runs out- he will be searching for good suppliers- though I doubt he will find the good Honey Cured Tobacco juice that I left him ;-)

Welcome to ECF and the wonderful world of vaping. Congrats and best wishes.

If you quit using Blu's, the rest is easy. Maybe go on to a ego and clearomizer and take it from there.

What he said. :thumb:

... and have been off the cigs for two months today. Best thing I've done in a long time. Congratulations!

Congrats on your two months too. :thumb:

Just got a heads-up on the ejuice prices at Mt Baker Vapor. I'd read good things about them on multiple occasions even though I've only been on this forum for a few days. But the prices? Best I've seen anywhere. 50ml bottle of ejuice for $10, reasonable 1st Class Mail shipping from the Left Coast, and free shipping with an order of $50. MINDBLOWINGLY good prices and many highly rated ejuices. Had to spread the word! I ordered 2 bottles, 50ml each, and I may have just abandoned all plans to make my own juice.

Meet in Northboro this coming Saturday http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-england-vapers/390724-april-new-england-vapers-meet.html

There's a decent shop in Webster Mass called Safer Vapors.
West on 290 from Worcester
continue on 395 south to exit 2
take right at exit
straight through light it's in the parking lot after the Friendlys just after the light

They have eGo VV, clearos, cartomizers, many liquids including some USA including Ginger's Fireball (my #1)

Good people/decent prices

Mount Baker Vapers is USA, fast, cheap and their juices rock. Try cinnamon roll :)

<...Framingham here (office in Lexington).

Been analog free for over 5 years now, was a smoker for 20+ years. Gave up smokes and ...... (another long time struggle of mine) at the same time.

I initially quit using Snus, the good stuff from Sweden not the garbage that is made in the States, but a few years back the hammer came down on us tax wise with The Pact Act and prices quadrupled overnight. I then made my way to vaping and have not looked back !
