Hello! I'm new! I'm Canadian! I'm confused!

I have been reading alot of info on this great forum in order to make some sense of this complicated e-cig culture I'd like to become part of. So I registered and hope that my learning curve goes up; there is just so much to educate ones self on.
Through this forum I have just discovered that us Canucks can't buy real nicotine for an e-cigarette. Typical. This is so very dissapointing for me, as I am planning on buying an e-cig starter kit soon, (after I read tons more and figure out which one would be best) and had grand plans to slow down/eliminate my pack a day Benson & Hedges addiction. Canada can be such a bloody police state, sigh!
So, salutations people, just wanted to officially say hello, I have so many ill-formed, vague questions about e-cigs that I won't bore anyone with them, at least until I can express them properly on this forum.
Salut, for now....:smokie:

HI there....Welcome :) I live in a country in northern europe, and we also have a nanny type government....forbidding the sale of e-liquid containing nicotine...However....I order my liquids from the UK....no problem at all:D
Go get a nice starter kit....if I may make a sudgestion ? something real easy that works well, is the ego-T starterkit...I do not use the standard atomizer though...I buy the ego-T dual coils cartomizers( low resistant.1,5 ohm) to use with the batteries :) This way you only have to parts to deal with..the battery and the cartomizer....easy to fill directly from your e-liquid bottle (no need for surynges and such) it holds a wopping 5ml. and gives superb vapour...stop smoking...start vaping :vapor:

Hi again,
had to go get my toddler from day care, come back to find some greeting! Thank you guys.

Oooooooh (said like the little aliens in Toy Story) vapoor eyes er....thank you so much for suggesting that I PM, I appreciate the help muchly.
Now, onto finding my ultimate e-cig kit! I don't want to impulse purchase one and end up being dissapointed and put off of smoking one- I really need to reduce/quit smoking as I have lovely new medical condition that requires me to get rid of cigs.
I'm worried to death about quitting and need to find a great e-cig (and wishful thinking), some nicotine to put in it, so that I don't lose my marbles in nicotine withdrawl and start sticking nic patches all over my body!

You're welcome. In certain parts of the country there are ECF listed brics and mortar stores. Unfortunately with Cdn vendors no discounts unlike U.S. vendors. Here's 2 Cdn ECF listed vendors:
JUGHEADS.co We've Got the Vapors ! incredible juices
www.CANVAPE.com incredible prices but I now DIY so don't know bout the juice- must register to see all.

Cheers.

Hi ego fan,

You too, eh? Don't you just love the way your gov't arbitrarily decides what individual rights and freedoms you can't exercise?
I was reading a Gov't of Canada health article that stated that if Canadians purchase nicotine liquids online customs would seize them, which is a waste of money for me to chance doing that. Arg.
Thanks for the suggestion, I have been looking at the ego kits, one that I am interested in is the ego something tank...looks more like a small cigar but has a 6 (?) hour battery, so that would be good for me, as a heavy cig. smoker. I would prefer, looks-wise a smaller e-cig that looks more like a real cigarette though. From what I am reading the smaller one don't last as long battery wise?
As to your advice with atomizers, i'm rather boggled with this, haven't learned enough yet, but thank you!

I've just started vaping too Cyberianhussy....and I love it. :vapor:
I actually ordered a disposable ecig to try & went for the Ego-c too. Strangely, I thought I'd miss the cig like feel with the ego, but after a few days I was use to it. I'm actually looking to buy a 510 set up for when I'm out visiting.
After continuing to research, I think it's a good idea for beginners to have a variety. :)

I ordered from the states and it had no problem getting through. Most don't, but talk to the vendor and they'll let you know if they've had any trouble. I recommend using USPS and NOT a courier like UPS. The shipping is under $5 and USPS seems to get through customs easier than couriers. The only drawback is it's going to take 2 or 3 weeks to get to you.

Welcome Ehh!!! I am American and live in the States but my wife is Canadian and we own a house in Woodbridge, Ontario. Love our neighbors to the North! I still get confused sometimes after a month here, but continue to learn more every day. Keep asking questions and you will get a lot of help. People are great here at ECF.
