Hello, I'm new

Greetings from the north! I'm from Canada, and recently found this very helpful board recently.

I am a former smoker, having quit five years ago after 23 years using Chantix. Since then I've had the odd smoke on rare occasions (usually when at a bar), and four months ago I saw folks on a caribbean cruise using these odd tubular devices in the casino and nightclub. Someone offered me a chance to try their's, and I was quite intrigued. Once in an American port I immediately bought a Blu starter kit. Once those cartos were used up, I started looking online and learned that there were much better alternatives to Blu.

My first device was the ego-cc, in a starter kit direct from Joyetech. I also purchased five bottles their made-in-usa juice which was a mistake (it is bloody awful, tossed it). Now I have three ego-cc on the go with two batteries, one of which I bought at a vape shop down in florida which, as it happens, is counterfeit (incorrect markings, colour is off, LED isn't the right colour either). Lesson learned.

Initially, I started off with 18mg juice and it was awful. Well, the juice was nasty too so maybe that was the real problem. Anyway, I scaled back to 12mg and that seems fine. I may well go to 6mg or zero in the near future as I've discovered flavours I really enjoy. I don't care much for tobacco flavours. I like desserts ones, and they are zero calories!

I recently bought a new toy, a Provari starter kit. I'm quite impressed with it. I might get a rebuildable atomizer tank, like the Z-Atty Pro. I also discovered fasttech, and just ordered some fun drip tips etc.

There are now Canadian juice vendors online and brick & mortar shops near me, so now I don't have to worry about ordering from abroad.

That's my story. Comments? Questions? Cheers!

Max

Welcome and congrats on the Provari. As a first rba, wouldn't recommend the Z-Atty Pro. Genesis style rba's are the most difficult to master IMHO. Would recommend something like the Russian or Flash-e-vapor V2 for a first rba. Much easier to build and delivers a great vape.

Sounds like you are well on your vape journey. Now just get your post count up, then go to the Canada section where you'll be able to request the Vape supply Vendor list for your country

Hi and thanks for the welcomes. I would probably get batteries direct from Joyetech or Provape directly when I need them. Oddly, Provape indicates they won't send batteries abroad, but they did in my starter kit.

RBAs scare me a bit, as I'm not the most patient kind of person. I did watch the video they have, showing how to first prep and thereafter change up the Z-Atty Pro. I'm good for now with my clearomizers and tank, so we'll see.

Fasttech batteries I think i will avoid. Machined steel parts should be fine I think. I did order some Kanger atomizers though, I hope they are authentic.

Cheers

Do what I do.....if you find something you are interested in, just ask on here. There is always someone here that can help you. That's what makes this place so wonderful. I have been super pleased with everything I have ever ordered from Fasttech. Now it does take time to get here but the money you save is amazing. Just read the reviews and watch youtube's and ask someone here.
