Hello, I'm sad, my dear old cat has passed on today.......

Hello women,

I'm very sad today. My best friend, my 18 year old big furbaby passed away today. I've had him for ten years, my friend, who gave him to me over ten years ago, found him at a shelter, and they thought he was about eight years old then. He was a very big cat, weighing over 20 lbs at one time, and was gorgeous, dark brown with reddish highlights, tuxedo looking with a white spot on his neck. He was a very lovable and loving being. I will miss him very much.

Oh, sorry to hear of your loss Lynzy. I had to put my 19 year old cat down a few months and it was very sad. Grieve and recall the love you two shared.

I am so sorry you lost your baby. We have a 13yo dog that has hip problems and falls a lot. Not sure how much longer he'll be with us but it sucks...they are just like our kids and so a part of the family

Thank you debra and Jenn. I've been knowing it was coming for a month or so, had taken him to the vet and they did blood and urine work, and there was nothing to report. He had gotten a growth behind his ear all of a sudden, and they didn't get to biopsy it at the time. He just started declining pretty rapidly shortly after. Yes, they are family, thank you.

So Sorry for your loss. Our pets are so precious to us and when they leave it is so much a loss and sadness. Only Time will heal the pain.
