Hello! My name is Wil. I've been vaping (for the 2nd time around) for about 12 days. The first time I tried it was a couple few years ago, and while the idea was great, the technology that I had ordered just wasn't up to par well enough for me individually to drop analogs.

I spend a lot of time out at bars and clubs so I started with a Blu Cigs premium kit and its working well for that purpose, but I quickly outgrew it for all day use. I kill those batteries so quick using it all day. I have purchased a Bolt from VaporBeast and I have to say that is one of the most helpful and customer service oriented companies I've ever dealt with. I should be receiving my Bolt and tank today! I'm really looking forward to it!

Hello and welcome! I'm on day #12 also! I also started w/a Blu (I also killed the batteries way too fast) & then moved to a Volt & passed the Blu on to my husband. This is day #5 of no analogs & I'm feeling really good.

Welcome, Wil! I got the volt too. Don't know what flavors you bought, but be aware you can refill the cartridges. (Which is good, because the few flavors I tried had a low taste factor, in my opinion.) All in all I like it, though.
The X2 battery with the clearomizer is probably a good and easy upgrade step for you. I'm not the expert on Volts, but my sister loves it...

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! It's always great to have a community of people to help you on a new learning and life experience. Look for a photo of my new bolt once I receive it! I'm also heavily considering the purchase of a Switchback from VaporBeast. I'm pretty severe in my customer loyalty when I feel like a company has attempted to go above and beyond for me, so what better way to say thanks than to order a company's specific product? I think the Switchback is a really awesome concept.

Can anyone point me to a thread that explains more of the technical side of things? For example, I'm curious why the Switchback can only use 2.2ohm and greater cartos. I also read somewhere that they will not work with a DCT, but they will with a single coil tank. I want to understand this type of stuff. Thanks in advance!

They have definitely made strides in the technology. The day I picked up my Blu was the last day I ever had an analog. I remember when I got it I still had about 6-7 cigarettes left in my pack, but I was too excited to try the Blu, so I went ahead and used it. Wow, it was HARD to choke down those 6-7 cigarettes I had left in the pack, but I don't like to waste things.

Just stick with it and good luck! Everyone is different, but I've found that I need a more constant supply of nicotine with the PVs than I did with analogs. I couldn't just do 10-15 puffs every hour or so like I did with cigarettes. I now take about 2 5 second hits every couple minutes throughout the day and I have yet to get an urge for an analog, even when being around my smoking friends. I can't stand how they smell, but hey, what are you gonna do?

Well my bolt and dct came in today and I have been vaping away all day on it. The flavor difference from the Blu is absolutely amazing. This thing packs a punch and I'm thrilled with the battery life. Huge thanks to VaporBeast for the recommendation! I wish it were more of a red in color, but I'm an artist. I'll figure out something to do with it!

Hey! I will be introducing myself in a post as well. This is actually my first interaction! Your one step ahead of me. I'm looking to 'try' some ecig brands as well. Think i'm going to start off with the Bull Dog brand and see how it works. My son told me about the brand so im going to actually listen to him and try it. lol Glad to hear your having some success with ecigs. Hope to say the same for myself soon. How quickly were the batteries running down with the Blu Cigs? And were they really a good product in your opinion? My son told me they were one of the 'big' guys in the industry. He's a market researcher and knows a bit about the industry so he mentioned it in conversation
