Hey there fellow vaper's, long-term and otherwise.

My name is Atom and I'm looking for some advice. First of all I'm 19 and I started smoking regular cigarettes when I was 13 and quit a week before my 17th birthday. Cancer sticks forced my dad to sleep with a breathing machine, it definitely opened my eyes and ultimately I'm glad he is still alive and cancer-free.

Currently I've only dabbled with imitation/look alike e-cigs for the past 2 months or so. My LEAST favorite was Mistic (awful vaping pen that leaked and their disposables give 30 measured puffs at best). My favorite was Logic, but for some reason they stop working after a week, regardless of the amount of juice left. I'm not very fond of them to say the least. They die FAST and /never/ offer approximately as many 'puffs' as advertised.

I read around the forums a little bit before signing up and noticed a lot of people talking about a particular vaping device known as JOYE eGo. Well here is where my question comes in..

What website would be the BEST to order an eGo starter kit and/or pen from? And preferably one that also offers the liquid to go with said vaping device. Also are there any imitators of eGo I should look out for or any generally bad vaping devices that I should stay away from?

Looking forward to being part of the forums. Any and all help is very much appreciated.
Thanks. :)

I don't know anything about eGo kits, so you may want to wait for the voice of experience to join in. I did notice that Mt Baker's site has numerous eGo starter kits listed and they sell juice, as well.

Another member's sig line states, "Don't trust atoms... They make up everything!" :D

Mt. baker is good, their juices get high ratings. I started with a Kangertech eVod kit, I quit a 36 yr addiction in one day. I've upgraded to a bigger mod now, but love the stick mods as opposed to a box shaped one, and I like thatI can use all of my tanks on any of my batteries. I'm consistent (OCD) like that. A good idea is to go into your local shop and try a few out, see what you feel comfortable with. You can also sample juices and find a few flavors you like.

Funny you mentioned Mistic, it's my mother in law's favorite. She just recently quit smoking, and doesn't really consider herself a heavy vaper... a charge on a Mistic lasts her about a day... she takes a puff or two every hour or so.. Personally, the less the better. She just had a cancerous tumor removed.. class 1 cancer, so luckily, no cemo or radiation is needed. She uses the Mistic more for the physical aspect than the vapor production.

Now, for Egos.. Ego's are a step up from the cigalikes. It's what I call the minimum for someone truly wishing to quit. They offer a larger battery capacity and power to support a slightly larger atomizer. They are larger themselves, since you "can't get something for nothing". Cigalikes, like the Mistic, has a capacity of 150-300 Milliamp hours.. that is a rough measure of how long the battery can last. Ego batteries usually run in the 600-1100 Milliamp hours. Even though that seems like a great amount, They also have larger atomizers that demand more power. So, you might or might not get a longer running time out of one... it all depends on your use. The step up from the ego's, is a box mod, or an ecig that takes replaceable batteries. Those usually have 1500-4400 Milliamp hours. Those, are even bigger, but usually, none of these are bigger than a pack of cigarettes.

So, Ego batteries are good... especially for beginners. Height wise, they're fairly tall compared to the box mod, but they're much slimmer and lighter. They don't pocket as well as a box mod. Mt. Baker Vapor has a good supply of starter kits, and they're decently priced with good shipping. I'll give three of my suggestions for starters...

Kanger Blister Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
..the most basic of setups and the cheapest. It comes with a 650MaH battery and an atomizer.. it is limited though in how long it lasts, and how it can customize to your vapor needs...

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
This is a very good first new starter kit. It features a 2600MaH battery, and the option to change the voltage to suit your vaping needs. It is a box mod, which throws some people off, but if you can get over that, it's a good starter.

Aspire Premium Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
If you're stuck with the idea of a pen type, then this is the one I would recommend. It can be varied to suit your vaping needs, has a 1000MaH battery, and is easy to use.

Kanger SUBOX Mini Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
Not really recommended for new members, but for those who want more vapor. This setup is ideal for people who do direct lung inhales. It will be a device that can grow with you, and offers the ability to replace the battery when it gets low with a freshly charged one. It doesn't come with a battery though, and will have to be purchased separately as well as a charger if you want a battery charging while you use another.

I hope this helps some.

Thanks for the help @redrebel

@Wolfenstark Well I'd like to start with a average, but/good/ vape pen and work my way up to mods (Which I know absolutely nothing about lol). As far as budget goes for both a vaporizer and/or a starter kit I'm willing to pay anywhere from $50 - $60, but I'm also definitely okay with paying more for better quality. As far as what I don't like, the only real complaint I've had about the one 'pen' I've used so far is that it leaked profusely.

Those pen-cigalike things are at the very bottom of the totem pole.

Something like an ego-one kit may be good though I have no direct experience with one , perhaps someone who has one could chime in.
Joye eGo ONE Starter Kit 2.5ml 2200mAh

As mentioned above the kanger tanks and mods and ipv & mvp mods are liked by many people.

I'd definitely recommend going into a local shop and try the feel of a couple different set ups. With your budget, you can find something you'll like and will use. They'll be ale to talk you through a few different units and show you how to get started, and any supplies you'd need.

I loved my Kangers...still have them! Even though I've gotten a few bigger ones since, it was perfect for me to start with and I still use them when I need something small and inconspicuous....lol

Got me mum a kanger aero tank Mow today and she's liking it , somewhat of a hmm finicky set in her ways possible tootle puffer.
Previously on the ce4 and got her a protank mini 3 but when you take it apart to refill you have to hold the glass and the top piece together.
Aero mow stays in one piece when you take the bottom off. Picked up some of the new organic cotton coils for those types of kanger tanks.
Also they fit a wide variety of their tanks.

I'm a very content tootle puffer! I LOVE Protanks, but that Unitank is a pain....will never get one again. Give me a good old reliable Protank 2 anyway. I guess I'm kind of a tootle snob...lol...I have a lovely no-smoking anniversary gift coming soon via the classies here...my very own ProVari 2.5 mini. I'm about to die of excitement!

Unitank like the aero mow ?
Well I had to find one that wasn't too big.
Ive looked in the classies but many people seem to be selling products for not much less than retail.
Ive got a Tmod on order for hundreds but if I was ever to sell any of my gear it would be a lot less than what I payed for it.

Hmm lets say loses 30% after its left the lot.
