LOLLL he's my lil buddy from a past life. Found him on the net and I'm kinda a pushover for squirrels and chipmunks. Some think that he's dead...not so as he was munching on fermented pumpkin, got drunk and passed out. The person that took the pic took care of him until he sobered up and could make it home to the Missus :D

Vapoor Eyes: love your lil avatar! Where did you find him?

OP: I also started on Mistic. I kind of thought they went out of business. All of the Atlanta distributors stopped carrying them and their website had like 2-week lead times on basically everything. That's what motivated me to upgrade…I was actually fairly happy with it.

I upgraded to an Ego Twist with a cartomizer and tank and a couple attomizers for dripping, and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't tried a clearo yet, mostly because I think carto tanks are insanely easy to fill already. I think it's a very solid way to go, though more expensive than a kgo. It doesn't like really low resistance or dual coils, but I think it works well and I like being able to adjust the voltage a tad based on how hot I want the vapor (cooler in the morning, etc.). Most of my stuff has come from myvaporshop, vapor alley, or vapor kings…and I've loved their customer service compared to dealing with the Mistic website.

No regrets on the upgrade, but I've also not tried a kgo.

OP: After nearly NOT going to ecigs because of Eco-cigs nasty taste ... I stumbled upon the Mystic at a gas station. I also liked them but off and on got juice in my mouth resulting in numb swollen feeling lips. I also did a lot of reading and decided to buy an on-line kit because I wanted / needed to get the cost as low as possible.

I'm very happy with KR808's (Smokeless Image) - I wanted mine to be as similar to regular cigs as possible, but that only lasted the first couple months :D I figured the Mystic would be my "back-up" in case I ran out of supplies. Now I keep it in the bathroom to use when I'm getting ready. I liked the 'pretty colors' of the Volts ...

Around the house I use the 900 mAh (have 2); in the car the 600; I like the cross over compatibility. I seem to forget to try it as a pass-thru when at the desk to save battery life. While it's top heavy I occasionally use the Clearomizer on the smaller (Automatic) Volt battery ...

Its kind of hard to suggest a product if we have no idea what kind of a vaper you are. If you want a hot hit you may want to consider dripping in 510s or 306 atomizers with a lower resistance anywhere between 1.5 and 2.2 ohm depending on how hot you want it. If you want convenience I'd go with a tank or cartomizer/clearomizer. As far as the battery you put it on (which is all a mod or ego is) its up to figuring out a balance between battery life and conveniance. If your looking for a tried and true been through its paces mod battery I'd go with a Silver Bullet from altsmoke.com ... If your looking for something thats just a little better than an ecig battery go with an ego/kgo/tornado/whatever they want to brand it as. also kits are cool but I've been vaping sinve late 2008 and i've never bought a kit. I always just buy the pieces that i need cause i always get what I want and I never need a 5 pack of generic tobacco flavored chinese cartomizers. just a tip.

I decided to quit the cancer sticks, and have been using the meh Mistic ecig from Wal-Mart(just because I could get it same day). I wanted some opinions on what to order as an upgrade, I am mostly looking for easy to use. Reading posts around here, the Ego-C, and kgo have caught my eye. Any advice is appreciated!!

The best way to start is by getting an "Ego C twist" battery and some 510 cartomizers.
I just wish these twist batteries were out when i started vaping.
Ego C Twist is the kind of battery that it can be used by a newbie, or an advanced vaper!

You can change the volts of the battery and adjust the taste of the e liquid no matter what atomizer you put on it.
The price for these batteries are from 20-30 euros. For the price, they perform stellar!

I thank all of you for the response, really glad I decided to post on here(after reading on here for weeks ;P). Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Gonna figure out what I like with the kgo, and go from there if I ever want anything different. To Blu Man, I really don't know what kind of vaper I am, only used the Mystic e-cigs( Therefore I am not sure if I enjoy hot vapor and all the other options). With a new system, lets hope I can figure out what I enjoy, instead of just vaping for nicotine.

Any of you have some recommendations for e-liquid? I'm trying to find something I like, but not really sure who to order from. I was looking at Mountain Oak Vapors tobacco set( I like tobacco/sweet tobacco flavors). One thing to mention is I don't enjoy the "tobacco" flavors that only taste like burnt ashes, I actually like real tobacco flavor. Tried something of my sister's before I picked up vaping and it had no flavor but ashes, freaked me out! I know I will not find some cigarette replica taste, but was hoping there may be something yummy out there.

I've personally been lucky with juice……mostly. It seems like surrounding most flavor descriptions with the words "cheap" and "candy" (e.g., cheap cherry, choclate, lime candy) gets kinda close so far. I've only had one I really hated and it was the worst thing I've ever tasted (Madvapes Kona Cream) but I could see how someone with completely different taste in coffee might like it.

I say just try a bunch of 5ml bottles and order more of what you like. That's what I'm doing……just ordered like 50ml of my favorite (so far) key lime flavor to make sure I have enough of a back up to last a while……then it's back to experimenting.

If you want something really simple (although it looks like a cig) and gives you an introduction into a great e-juice, I would try the Halo G6 or Halo Element. Although Halo is generally known for their kick-... juices, the G6 (two part) and Element (three part) are Halo branded Joye 510 e-cigs. However, the power on these things are amazing for a standard 510. The atomizer / cartomizer gives you 2.8 ohms of resistance and the batteries push through 2.7 volts. This means you get 4.89 Watts out of these things. Not bad for a starter kit and first intro to an e-cig. Started out with the Halo Element about 2 months ago and loved it - way better than the disposable e-cigs I've tried. I just recently bought an Ego-C system because I was ready to evolve to something that was more customizable but that's bound to happen to anyone over time.
