I am new to the forum and been using a ce5 ecig for about a month now. I am happy to say I've been off analogs for about a month now.
I was surprised at how easy the switch was for me. I bought a ego-t starter kit and my only complaint so far is the mess and inconvenience of the tank system. I don't like the clearmizer (i think that's what they're called) tank at all.
I also would like to get more "vapor" out of my device. I am looking into other options on this forum. Thinking about either a Reo or a Billet Box due to the reported ease of use.

A little about myself: I am a avid collector of technology. I'm into computers, cell phones and other tech related items. I actually first heard about ecigs from another forum xda developers. This is a great site for cell phone and tablet afficionados looking for more from their devices.
I was a heavy pack to pack and a half smoker a day and knew I needed to quit or at least ease up. I wasn't able to find anything that worked: tried chantix, gum etc etc. Nothing worked.
I've rambled on enough for now and will definitely be lurking around this site.

Welcome!

I would kill for a billet box...well, not kill maybe but definitely maim.

If you're willing to spend that kind of money I recommend the Provari with some carto tanks or a Kanger Protank or two.

On a cheaper budget the VAMO is a good choice although I've been hearing good things about the SVD.

Welcome Cash! I am new to the forum too and have a similar story. I have bought 3 mods in the past month, ZMax, SVD, and Provari mini. Take my advice and just buy the Provari. It is expensive, but I would rather have one good mod, then 3 mediocre ones. Just my opinion, but I wish someone would have told me this in a way that made me listen.

Nice to see so many people getting started in this vapor venture!
I think I like the form factor and the ease of the Billet and Reo box. That's why I am shying away from the more traditional style of the Provaris and other mods.
The ego-t was a great starting point and I'm going to look into those other tank options.
Thank you everyone for the advice! This website seems like a nice close community of ex-smokers and I like the support that seems to flow here. Everyone started at the same point and now offers their experience and knowledge to others starting out.
Thanks again!

Go to vapor alley and buy a Sigelei zmax for 65 bucks and get some kanger protanks to top it. The zmax is as well built as the provari for a fraction of the price, and it has variable wattage and an oled screen which makes it a better PV than the provari. Don't be like a lot of people on here with buyers remorse for overspending for a lesser device, the provari, and than tell everyone else to get one so they don't feel so bad.

Howdy and welcome!

So do you wear black? :)

I haven't ventured into the world above a eGo Twist and a Kanger T3 yet so can offer any suggestions. I would be interested in what you discover though.

I see the train a-coming, coming round the track.... and that darn song is gonna be stuck in my head for a bit now. :D
