I lurked for almost a month

I'm sure this gets asked daily. But maybe I'll put a twist on it. Could anybody recommend a couple of suppliers with a good entry level kit? I want to start out by putting a fair amount of money in so I can be tied over for awhile and not feel like I have to upgrade so quickly to meet my needs. I'm worried I'll spend some money getting started and then 2-4 weeks later I'll be shopping again haha.
