I'm just making my hello post due to the automated request for new members to do so.
I am 21 years old, I live in portland, and I am mostly here for coil ideas.
I am a beginner when it comes to vaping and coil building in general, I have a few premade wires but I am looking for advice on what techniques/designs I should use with my premade wires (I also have some 24 gauge ss316) in order to achieve a higher wattage (above 80 watts)
I am also having an issue with my smok species where it seems to be lying to me about the voltage I am firing at, was hoping someone here might have some insight on that as well.
thanks for reading my wall of text

Check out the coilbuliding section for new ideas although also don't get overwhelmed. I find coils easy enough although I also use prebuilt stuff, it can be a deep rabbit hole but a single post build with one simple coil really often never fails as a first endeavor (but I suck at them so you might do better.)

In any case, welcome and good luck!

Smok kit in general has problems with quality issues but most mods are not exactly perfect when it comes to telling you what you are vaping at and I agree, have a look at coil builds, 24g is fine for single coil but I use 26g and 28g for dual builds to basically keep it above 0.2 ohms, some fantastic coil builder's on this forum, I'm not bad at it but nowhere as good as some.
My mantra is, keep it safe and if it works you are good to go
