I just wanted to say hello as I am new to the forum. I am looking for anyone who is having some sucess with the nickle wire used with the NEW dna 40. I have somme 28 gauge and 32 gauge. I have wrapped a couple of coils but keep getting a temperature protection error. My coil is a 0.29 at 13 watts with a temperature setting of 500 degrees. I have been told to forget everything I know about kantal wire as this nickle wire is tottally different.

I fired it both ways. The wicked and juiced up method I have been able to get it to fire but the flavor is not as robust.
