Hello,
New member here. Just bought an ego-C type B 2 weeks ago and am very happy with it's performance. Thank you ECF for pointing us newbies in the right direction (almost fell for the v2cigs starter kit), but that was before educating myself via this forum. I had already ordered the v2cigs disposable ones to try and it seems like it's a good product. the only complaints i've seen is around battery life and how long the batteries will last...overall ego-c seems to have been the better choice and i've had no issues with it...

I've now finally learnt to clean the atty's. The only question: I have read some stuff some replacing wicks, but it doesn't seem like many are doing it. What are the thoughts out there? should the wicks be replaced weekly? and if so, do you know of any links that provides more info on what wick material to buy and how to prepare/replace the wick? Thanks you

Welcome to ECF! I'm a big fan of the eGo-C myself, congrats on your purchase.

As for the attys, while I do take care to clean them, I don't perform any sort of surgery on them- just not worth the time in my opinion. I keep 5 or 6 attys in rotation, and am finding I go through about one per week on average, but I'm only two months in and have a feeling my inexperience may be partially to blame for going through them so quickly; time will tell.

This is a video I found doing a quick search for eGo-C wick replacement:

Welcome to ECF! I found maintaining the attys on those to be a hassle but doable to save some money. I ended up switching to a Vision Stardust low resistance, holds enough juice to last about half a day, easy to wash out to change flavors. Nwvapors.com had them on sale right now I think, but they are pretty cheap everywhere, like 6 bucks
