Hello all!
I started vaping a few months ago to quit smoking and it helped me a lot. One problem I'm experiencing is this burnt metal taste I get occasionally. I own the kangertech protank 2 with Eco c twist battery. I broke the tank apart and cleaned it because I was told certain ejuice would clogged up the e cig. I have don't that but I still taste the burnt metal taste occasionally. Can any of you kindly help me out with some advice?

Thank you very much!

Hi and welcome to ECF.

When you cleaned your tank, did you put in fresh juice, or the same juice? If you used the same juice, it was likely already contaminated from getting burnt, and it will always taste burnt. You will need to reclean the tank and replace the coil and juice to get rid of the taste. If you used fresh juice, then I would guess that the problem is in the coil, you might want to reclean the tank, replace the coil and fill with fresh juice. I bolded the word might, because without definitively knowing what the problem is, this may not fix it.

HTH!

Does it taste that way for every hit or just occasionally?
It could be the odd dry hit, I got them often with a PT2. I eventually passed it off to someone else and went back to my Iclear 30.
You've gotten some pretty good advice in regards to changing and cleaning. Maybe dry burn the coil you're getting the horrid taste with if you haven't already, I just find that's the best way to get the juice build up off the coil itself.
