Hello everyone,

Great website and members here! I am very happy I came across this site. You guys are great in sharing all your knowledge and experience so freely. I was a cigar a day smoker for quite awhile, then moved to Skoal pouches and 3-6 cigarillos a day. Wow, are those pouches addicting or what! Those were the hardest thing to quit, the nic high on those was great. Luckily I stopped those and was down to 3-6 cigarillos. I don't really care to much for them but they had the nic I craved. Well I was always interested in vaping, so I thought I would give it a try. Bought a Itaste 3.0 vv/vw for fathers day and have been quite happy with it. I stopped the cigarillos and have not been craving them. I use a 26mg liquid in the morning and then a 18mg in the evening. The flavors are great. I did not think I would like the sweet ones. I also like that I can just vape in the house with no offensive odors. You guys and gals are awesome.

Thanks
Joe

Welcome from another new member and vaper. vaping for aboyt 6 weeks,13 days smoke free after 28 years. I initially didn't like the sweet or fruity juices but they have their place. I am currently experiencing what is called vapers tongue and would not be sensing any vape flavor without the sweet juices. Don't rule them out completely you may very well find your tastes change once yoy can fully taste again. Congrats and once again welcome

Welcome to the forum, gusibon! I usually say: and congrats on being analog free, but in your case, I'll say: congrats on being cigarillo free, lol! Very impressive equipment you're starting out with, and also that you've already sussed out varying your nic levels during the day.

My suggestion is to try as many flavors as you can, even those you think you may not like because they don't fit what you think your preferences are. Many new vapers try to duplicate the flavor of their favorite cigarette (oops! their favorite cigarillo :) Can't be done. Juice can't exactly duplicate the taste of burning tobacco. Many non-menthol smokers come to like vaping menthol. And vice versa. I thought when I started vaping that I'd prefer food flavors (I love cheesecake and chocolate. Didn't like cheesecake juice at all and am still searching for the right chocolate vape. Don't drink soda but my favorite vape is cola! Go figure...)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am trying some cuban cigar flavor and a Munster flavor. Both are pretty good, these are pretty tasty from crazyvapor. Will have to try out that menthol flavor. I was a Newport smoker back in the day. I was analog smoker for quite a long time and quit smoking for almost 18 yr. I got into a bad car accident and almost missed my cruise ship to Hawaii. Later that evening I went to the cigar lounge and had a nice Cohiba and some RM Louie XIII. I usually only smoke a cigar now on special occasions. Glad I got off the cigarillos, I think those were really raising my blood pressure. I am going to check it out later and see how vaping affect your blood pressure.

There are several threads related to the tobacco lovers. Go search them out. I been to a couple and the general atmosphere would be what I would consider a cigar lounge. You might enjoy that and learn a lot about different juices to try out.

Welcome to ECF. I love it here. There is so much to learn and the people are very nice and helpful. Congratulations on your progress.

Welcome Joe, great story. You are completely right when you say this is a great resource for every level of vaper.

Can you believe I once tried the swisher sweets to quit smoking! - it was worse, I was going through them like I smoked cigarettes, I stunk, my lungs were about to pack up and it was expensive.

Then, a few months ago, I discovered vaping. (actually the lady above Chimney34 was one of the first to welcome me to the forum - thank you ma'am)

So pull up a chair, refresh your juice, have a read and a vape

Welcome to the Forum Joe, and thanks for sharing. That little iTaste 3.0 is a very good little ego/mod, and both the wife and I love ours. Really great for those out and about Friday nights. Anyway, glad you made it here, congrats on quitting, good luck, made that fifth post, be strong and Vape On!

@Chimney34 great to hear about your blood pressure being better. How many mg of nic are you vaping? Just curious, I am confident mine is doing better. I need to check on our machine.

Hey Gusibon! Thanks! Hopefully you'll have the same results! I mainly vape 18mg. I vape lower sometimes before bed. It's not often but when I do it's 6-12mg.
