Welcome to ECF fellow Minnesotan!
I would say the biggest improvement for me so far was getting my variable voltage battery (I've got an ego twist). Still training wheels to many of the vapers here who are wayyy past that but it's made a big difference in my vape satisfaction!
Are you finding juice flavors that you like?

Welcome! I must agree with jlcarey03 on getting a vv spinner of some sort. I switched to vv batteries 2 weeks into vaping and I feel it has helped me quit smoking analogs quicker because in my experience finding that perfect volt setting you can be able to achieve your perfect throat hit and sometimes increase and decrease of flavors that may be to strong or need that extra boost of heating. Good luck and again, welcome :)

Welcome fellow Minnesotan. We're really lucky around here to have a lot of vapor shops in the metro area and St. Cloud, I know of at least about 10. I opened up this week's City Pages and noticed a big ad a few pages in that a tobacco store chain of about a dozen stores are converting soon to majority vape-shops from cig shops, so we'll have even more. I recommend visiting some of the local stores and sampling the various flavors offered, it's a great way to try new flavors and find flavors you may not have thought you'd like. The prices are a little higher than online, but I still recommend.

knock off or not, ce4's suck

anyways, welcome! as a fellow minnesotan, from the same area as you, i can point you towards local stores, or just give you advice in general. ive used everything from dripping attys to ce4's to $200 kayfuns

Actually it was Sarah's on Central. They have some good people and even gave me a couple of bucks off to steer me away from the Chinese clones. Currently browsing Fasttech too.

chinese clones of the vivi nova? its already cheap crap made in china lol. thats great that you have found a good place though, ill have to check it out sometime. but anyways, be careful on fasttech, have their stuff is terrible

Really? That's great. The only new store I saw is the one on Hennepin Ave (Uptown). Could you point out where are the others?

There are shops popping up all over the place. New one just opened a few weeks ago in Richfield on 65th and Lyndale - Emerald Vapor. I've not hear much good feedback on them though. I was going to pop in this weekend just to see but I ran out of time.

I checked out e-cig crib last Friday. NICE people, very laid back, well appointed clean store... Didn't care for their devices or the juice much though - the flavors were ok but I must have tried 20 or so and nothing said "take me home!".

I want to get down to Lakeville and check out Vermillion River. I went to e-cig crib specifically because they carry some of their juice, but they wouldn't tell me which ones were VR either because they didn't know or they don't want people going direct to VR or something... found it odd. Oh well.

Uptown Vapor Shoppe is small but nice people and better product overall than e-cig crib in my opinion. However, I've thrown most of my business over this first month of my vaping adventure to Smokeless Smoking in Bloomington. Can't wait to see their expanded lounge.

I'll start buying more stuff online once I get the hang of all this... right now, I love that I'm so close to a few good Brick and Morter shops. We're very lucky here in the Twin Cities.

Oh yea... welcome to our new neighbor Lars! Cheers :toast:

When I was at the Lyn-Lake crib, they only had one BCC. Ok, I understand B&M, can't have 15 of everything and not charge double online prices for it... but ONE? :-( Maybe I hit them on a bad day. Like I said, it was a nice store, I will go back... maybe pick up a small bottle of Banana Bread. That was the best juice I tried, by far.
