I give up, this vivi nova sucks completely, I changed to 1.8 ohm and still so hard to draw, yes more vapeur but too hard. I also checked my box, there is "vision" so not a counterfeit. I think this is just not my thing.

You didn't read. See above (post # 9 in particular). Just back it off 1/4 turn from the PV.

Look. This "flame war" is stupid for this stuff. It's a positive and negative coil connection with a container. They all work. They all fail. They are each a little different. Protank has one set of issues, vivi has another.

There's no one perfect car, boat, plane, train, e-cig battery, or tank.

You opening a shop in Paris selling Pro-tanks or something? Sheesh. Get good with stuff. Protanks are good. Vivi's work too. You should have BOTH working. Then you can judge. Until then...it's you. Sorry. If they didn't BOTH have problems, I wouldn't say that. But they do.

Well put man. It irritates the crap outta me when someone asks for help or opinions and 10 people write back IT'S GARBAGE THROW IT AWAY...USE ____. Everyone is different and none of this stuff is a one size fits all. No matter what gear you choose, there is a learning curve. To each his own. I like the Vivi Nova because it hits hot and tastes better to me. It's not without it's drawbacks, but neither is any other tank. I don't care for the Protank, it's airy and noisy in my opinion. But that doesn't mean it's garbage. Just means I prefer a different vaping experience.

With regards to the "knockoff" heads, that pin at the top means the head is for a stardust style clearo and not the vivi nova.
I'm not weighing in on whether they are authentic or not, just that it is designed for a different device.

And ya... loosen up your vivi a quarter turn and it will help it immensely. It will never be as airy as the protank, and you may find you are just an 'airy draw' kind of person, but you shouldn't be busting your neck tendons with the vivi.

I use CE5's, Protank, Carto tanks and just picked up CE6's and a vivi nova.

They ALL have their quirks and I have just sort of learned how to cope with each of them. Vaping has a learning curve. Every device has it's own learning curve.

My current learning curve is finding a carto punch that is easier to use with hands that don't grip things so well. :p Burnt carto taste from inadequate holes SUCKS.

The first vivi novas out had quite a few problems. The version 2 and up are much better. You have to be careful with the silicon cap on the heads -the metal piece inside has two diff sides make sure the flat side faces down towards the battery. Also if the heads have a pointy metal tip protruding out of the silicone cap it is a knockoff. I just got the nova from fasttech to try that has the metal overlay with clear slits on the side and have been having problems with it. It leaks at the 510 connection and gurgles- first vape was burnt. I have been using the vision novas v2.5 for about 9 months now and love them, will only buy the genuine ones anymore.

Hell get an atomizer and a drip tip ....... problem solved ....... (jk)

No one is going to say that you have to like a Nova mini, and anyone that says no one will like the Nova mini is a fool. It really is that simple.

The bottom line is that a person either makes the effort to learn how to use a product or they don't ......... your choice!

Personally, I like the vivi nova a lot. I also own a protank which I am using on my vamo right now. I really do not care for the protank. I will probably only use it for juices known to crack plastic tanks. I very much prefer the taste from my nova. Its a warmer vape than the protank, so that may attribute to it. The protank vape is so cool and airy I sometimes can't even tell that vapor is coming out.

But again, as it has already been said; not everyone HAS to love the protank. Not everyone HAS to love the vivi nova. They make different options for a reason. So people have choices. A lot of people swear by carto tanks. I personally cannot stand those. No matter what I do my juice tastes burnt. But am I going to rag on someone because they prefer carto tanks? Not at all. Get what you like and what works for you and most of all vape on!

Hello, Juste received my protank and vivi nova and a bottle of malibu, and I have to say, vivi nova sucks!!!
Vivi nova is not airy at all! I have to suck really hard to get some vapor, even though, it does not produce much vapor. Not even better than my kanger t2.
On the other hand, protank is really nice, elegant, really really airy, I have for now tried ce4, kanger t2, evod, vivi nova, protank is the most airy one. t2 and evod are ok, good enough, but with vivi nova it is just too hard to get some good vapor.

Another thing I just realized is that my prokant came with a little rubber ring on the bottom side, if I scew the tank with it, I get almost the same thing as vivi nova, not airy at all, then I removed it, hell!! tuns of vape.

Am I doing something wrong with my vivi nova?? Do I need a beauty ring to make it work?

For information, all these clearos come from the same store and I believe they are all authentic, but on the vivi box, there is just vivi nova, no mark, no vision nor joyetech. All mounted on an ego standard bettery.

I read somewhere that noname vivi from fasttech has air issues, someone says they have to drill an air hole to make it work, hope I dont get a fake one(11euros a little bit much for a fake).

    Update:
I demounted the vivi nova, tried it without bettery, it is ok, seems airhole is on the bottom and once screwed to the bettery it just gets stucked so no air.......

This Video is good for knowing if you have a fake or not also he has attached some pics that show the difference.
I have loads of problems with the replacement heads even though it vaped like a dream at first with the heads that came in the box... my box had nothing written on it at all!! but its a Vision one... I think! or at least a very good fake!

Beware the knockoffs for sure. I accidentally got a 2.5 knockoff, what a POS. When I got the real deal things improved immensely. I like a easier draw myself so I bore the air hole a bit.
I get the feeling, feelings are always subjective, that Vivi Nova user tend to like a smoother vape with a reduced throat hit. I vape 100% VG and that may be an influence on why I like a Vivi Nova, they seem to work well with 100% VG.
All this being said I might get around to trying out an iClear 30 one of these days, it would seem like a good alternative to the Vivi Nova.
