Hello everyone! ☺️

So I’ve never smoked in my life. Well, if you count the “i want to be like my friends so let me try smoking 13yo stage” where i only smoked maybe three ciggarettes

I started vaping when i got with my now fiance two years ago. I had a kangertech and smoked 3mg juice. I quickly had to stop after about three months due to getting pregnant. I had no troubles and no urges to really smoke again, but i missed all the flavors! As soon as i had the baby, we purchased new vapes. I got another kangertech but its the topbox nano. It has a 3.2 ml tank. Now, i never hit my vape a lot prior to pregnancy but now i find myself hitting it a lot more. I dont even realize how much. I swear i fill my tank up atleast 4 times a day. We just bought our own small bottles of zurros juice on Friday. Im not sure of the size of the bottle, but theyre small, only 10 bucks at the store we go to. Anyways, we got them on friday and i just finished my bottle today (wedsnesday). My fiance still has a half bottle! And he was a smoker prior to vaping. Am i vaping too much? Can i hurt myself?

In my defense, i lost an o ring so it leaks quite a bit when i first fill it, so i do loose some juice there.

Any advice? Thanks in advance! And i apologize if im on the wrong board.

There may be spare o rings in your original box. Sounds like 10-15 ml bottles. If you’re going through less than one a day of those you’re fine. My regular vape has a 10ml tank and I refill it once or twice a day and I vape ~10ml

Just to be sure, as long as im going through less than one of the bottles a day im good? If so then awesome. It took me 5 days to finish the bottle. I saw something about nicotine poisoning when i did a quick research a little bjt ago and got worried, especially since i never smoked prior to vaping.

Ill literally just be sitting in the kitchen away from baby chain vaping ‍♀️ Im like man i need to slow down!

Oops, forgot to mention, i thinkbi misplaced the ones in my box, probably got set aside and mixed in with trash my fiance found some in his box he keeps everything in, and we tried it but it didnt fit. Gotta look into getting some. But i might just order a new vape. I wanna try something different since ive only had kangertechs

nicotine poisoning is easy to notice: nausea -> drooling -> dizziness. if you're feeling sick to your stomach its time to put the vape down.

Hi, welcome to ECF I would suggest replacing the 0 ring if you can. If your tank's leaking and your partner's isn't well sometimes that can account for a lot of "missed" juice.

As far as nicotine poisoning, as others have said, well, it's unlikely for you to get there without your body sending distress signals first.

I guess, as far as something else, it would be helpful to know if you are looking for any changes besides "not Kangertech." Do you want to be vaping more MTL at higher nicotine (this may well save on juices, batteries and coils) with less vapor, due to the baby? (Keep in mind, since this reduces juice consumption compared to sub0hm vaping, the amount of OVERALL nicotine you get per day is what really counts, so you need not be scared off by a higher nicotine level like potentially 8, 10, or 12 mg/ml (probably on the lower side since you are a non-smoker and etc.)

Also, vaping more may just be due to stress. Having a new baby around tends to be stressful, but letting us know what type of vape and what you are looking for might help, the options are super varied.

Welcome to ECF, and congrats on you new kiddo :)

    Welcome aboard,
I agree with the 'stress makes you vape more' comments. I started vaping due to a broken leg ;) Tho I think the stress of a new baby trumps that!

Nicotine wise, a head rush, and nausea are signs you've had too much. I started at 18mg with a 1.5ohm mtl setup, down to 12mg now.

Keep calm and vape on ;)

I just ordered a new vape, the Smok TPriv 220w TV And was wondering if this battery is safe to use? I red the LG highedrain ones were recommended but everywhere I look they are out of stock. :(
18650 Samsung 3000mAh INR18650-30Q High Discharge Flat Top - Batteries - Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers
That battery will be "safe" to use in the Smok TPriv. Since it is a dual battery mod, you'll have a wattage ceiling of about 90 watts (45 watts X 2 batteries) using two Samsung 30Q.

I doubt you'll be vaping over 80 watts so that won't be a problem. Should you find that you wish to vape over 90 watts, you will need to get a couple of higher amp batteries.

-If you use a good quality 15 amp CDR battery like the Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6, then you are good up to 45 watts per battery; 90 watts using two; 135 watts for three batteries.

-If you use a good quality 20 amp CDR battery like the LG HG2 or Samsung 25R then you are good for 60 watts per battery. If using a 2-battery regulated mod, you're good for 120 watts as you have two batteries. If you are using a 3-battery mod, you're good for 180.

-If you use a single 25 amp CDR battery like the Sony VTC5A, then you are good for 75 watts per battery, 150 watts for two batteries, and 225 watts with three.

-If you use a single 30 amp CDR battery like the LG HB6 you are good up to 90 watts; with a pair of 30 amp CDR batteries you could safely do 180 watts.

    WATTAGE PER SINGLE BATTERY:

    20W-45W:
    Samsung 18650 30Q, 3000 mah 15 amp CDR
    Sony 18650VTC6 3000mAh 15 amp CDR

Thank you so much!!! This makes more sense to me! Everything I was reading about batteries was like jibberish with all the chemistry breakdowns. I’m like just tell me what to use! Lol. Maybe it was because I was pretty sleep deprived while I was trying to research. Thanks again :)
