My first was a Fin from Wal-Mart...ewwwwww put it down quickly and picked up my stinkies and felt better. My next was an ego-T, that made me quit the stinkies for good! After that it was on to a Vision Spinner 1300 mah and that is my current setup as well. I don't see me every going to any other battery cause I am getting exactly what I need and want from my Spinners. I have 2 protanks, an iclear 16, a Kanger MT3 and an Evod, with 2 Spinners. I am a very happy vaper and can't imagine going back to stinkies. I have several e-juices but have just recently started making my own.

I am a very happy camper and am very satisfied with my setup. In the end, that's all that really matters right? It's not about what you have, it's about how well it works for you, it's about staying away from the analogs.

Welcome to the forum and I hope your wife follows you in giving up the analogs, she will love her Spinner, just make sure she has a good tank/clearo.

Thanks much for your comments. Definitely, if you don't need all the whistles and bells of the more expensive mods, stick with what you have. For me, I want to look into cost efficiencies and so far it looks like rebuilding coils is a pretty cost effective method of vaping. As such, I'm really wanting a mod with a built in Ohm meter for convenience. I'm also pretty sure that eventually after solid daily use, my Spinner will eventually go out. I love the Spinner though and it's helped me quit!

so for all the juices that you dont use (i have about 15 bottles myself that just collect dust) I just found a local 'juice meet' which is basically a meet-up of fellow vapors that you use to trade juices with others.

I would try seeing if you can find something similar around your area.. that way you can give those juices to someone who might like them, and get something for yourself as well.

Good suggestion on cutting down on the nic levels and congrats on being able to cut back! Already ahead of you on the meet-ups - I've found a local one and absolutely intend on going to network, trade juices, and all that good stuff.

For me the only mistake I made was starting to smoke analogs in the first place, while I now have several egos and ego-c's I've been able to pass my joyetech 510's on to another. None of my upgrades do I regret, because I've enjoyed this whole, process of quitting analogs. As far as a Provari who knows but don't think I'll get one for awhile, my current 2 Vamos and a soon to be had SID gives me what I need to stay off the analogs, I love Vapeing and consider it a side Hobby while my journey continues.

I'm so glad OP that Vapeing has worked out for you and if u feel a Provari is in your future then that's a great way to go, congrats mate.

Thanks Talyon for your input. I've also been looking at the VAMO and hearing good things about it. I have also heard of people that broke their VAMO from a small drop, and that concerns me. While I love the vaping world, my wife prevents me from making it a full blown hobby as I tend to get a little overzealous with hobbying and will end up with an avatar like yours within just a few weeks if I'm not careful. Which brings me to making a decision on what the next step is because I know it'll be the last equipment purchase for a while! Haha.

Have you had any leaking issues with either?

spend a little extra and get a Protank if you want a good bottom coil (plus it has pyrex tank so nothing will damage it) - personally not a huge fan of the evod but its ok i guess for the money (the 2 I got had leaking problems and the protank hasn't so no reason for me to use the evod's anymore)

and the iclear30's are the best top coils (and i've used almost every one and hate them all except these) no leakage, and great vapor/flavor.

Thanks DuckysBooBoo. And isn't that so true crshsnwmn. What didn't you like about the iClear 30? I've been looking at those myself but the Vivi Nova has been working great for me as far as a tank goes.

Nothing tastes right in it - washed the tank the same way I do my protanks and evods before use. Requires an eight second draw to get decent vapor from it, and seems to be finicky about how tight the tank is screwed together - dry hits if it isn't left slightly loose.

No chance of that here, I'm in SW Virginia and only ever seen one other person vaping. I'll probably send them to my sister or friends back in Louisiana who I'm trying to get off of analogues.

Thanks for sharing some of the mistakes you've made! I'm absolutely with you on the juices. I went to a few local shops to find a good juice that I can procure locally should I really need something. Now that I've got a good source, I'm starting to look at online shops. I've heard Copper Creek is great, in particular the House Blend. I have heard a number of good things about the MVP - definitely one I'll be looking at when I'm ready for the next piece of equipment.
I love Copper Creak, It's all I buy now. If you order, you can tell them in the comments box what you would like as a sample. I rotate the House Blend, Voo's Brew, Voodoo & Twisted Tobacco.

I researched a lot before getting my MVP and couldn't find anyone saying anything bad about the units, except the earlier units ego threads wern't right(which they fixed). It does only go up to 5v, but I never go that high even with a 2.5ohm coil. The thing that made me get it over the VAMO and Zmax was the battery. It's non-replaceable, but lasts me 2 days of heavy vaping. I'm not worried about not being able to change the battery, by the time that comes I will have moved on to a Zenesis Sidewinder or DNA 20 mod.

OK, so here's my question.... Why didn't you go for the mod before the MVP? I guess the obvious answer is probably cost, or maybe the mods you're looking at now weren't out? See I keep thinking of reasons I would need to replace a unit, and every time I find a reason I would need to get another unit beyond a catastrophic failure, I keep thinking I should just save up and get an expensive mod to begin with. For me, I just don't want to end up with a collection of mods... I can see that with tanks, but I want one unit that does everything I could ever want along with a backup system and leave it at that.

I have a quite a few high-end mods and I have a few low end mods I like them all but I just pick up a sigelei zmax flat head telescoping mod for under $60 and it's really well built and looks great so you may not need to spend $150 to get a nice PV now a days

Absolutely agree with that. Looking at the timeline for mods over the last two years, they've come a long way in a short time. I guess I'm looking at mods that will last me at least two years.

Cost is the main reason, I figured that the MVP would hold me over till I could save for a Zenesis Sidewinder.

In the beginning for me (long time ago lol), there were basically White Cloud e-cigs. I can't knock them, they were one of the first I believe... I got the whole set up, cartridges everything. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for me to stay completely off analogs. At the time, they were (as all new technology) very expensive. I looked at my first invoice awhile ago, and I think it was about $300. I stayed with their products for awhile, but it wasn't until I got my first Provari (a gift when they first came out and it still works great lol) that I finally was able to stop analogs. It was enough for me to quit analogs. Didn't have to deal with cartridges that may or may not work, I discovered dripping and loved it (still do) but then it opened the door to all kinds of new things for me: cartomizer & tanks, clearomizers, rbas. I have bought some items that I resold or gave away because they just weren't cutting it for me after owning a Provari. It was an interesting trip and still is :). When the mini provari came out, I bought that for myself. That is still working excellent too. I've since got into mechanical mods & rbas, but the Provari is still used daily. I believe that vaping is still in its infancy so just enjoy the ride, and your new found health ^^ and congrats on quitting analogs!
