I ran my Nautilus tanks in VV mode from 4-5V, 4.5V being the usual and 5V as the coils got clogged with juice.
On the Nautilus tanks I tended to adjust my vaping style to the tank. The air flow ring was fairly worthless (left it on the maximum opening) and simply adjusted the voltage so it did not overrun the wicking. 50/50 or high PG content juices work/wick better than high VG juices.
I think I've settled on 6v and 10w. Shall see if I adjust again. I'm using the second to smallest air hole on the tank. But I'm very pleased with the performance of the whole set up. Only grumble is that maybe the 2ml tank is not as big as I'd hoped. But it seems to last a day. Just careful, because I don't want it running low on the coils!
Yes, too clean for aniseed flavour compared to what I got from the old tank. Whilst clean flavour is good. I guess I need to find something that suits the tank and my tastebuds. Not a big fruit fan and I don't like the fake tobacco flavours. And like something that is strong but not too sweet! Does that clarify?
