Hello All,

Let me start off by saying that I have not read throughout the threads in this forum yet, and I know without a doubt that I will find valuable information. I am a member of a few other forums for other things, so I know how they work and stuff, so at least I'm not a total newbie with that.

I am however, a total newbie when it comes to E-Cigs. I have done a fair share of research throughout the internet, but it is hard to find what the BEST available E-Cigs are, when you have to sort through all of the biased reviews and such. I have watched a good chunk of youtube videos mainly from Youtuber: Scott Bonner (igetcha69) and other Youtuber: RustyLug. I noticed at a quick glance that Scott is actually a member of this forum which is pretty cool, (not sure if RustyLug is or not). I must say RustyLug's video was how I found E-Cig's to begin with and got me hooked right away and Scott has just given me loads of insight based on all of his reviews.

I'm not an everyday smoker, but more of a casual one, so I figured that I didn't need anything "top notch" just yet. So I was looking for a cheap but solid starter kit that would actually ship to CANADA. Many sites I emailed wouldn't ship here. So then I finally found Lalla Boutique and purchased my very first "Super Mini" also known as the RN4081. I was looking for something that looked similar to the traditional cigarette with an "Automatic" feature instead of "Manual". I think it was a good buy, but then again, haven't read anything in this forum yet. I did a quick search on "Lalla Boutique" here in the forum and only cames up with posts from 2009, so not sure if that's good or bad.

Anyway, I would just really appreciate any help or pointers that you folks can give me. I know when "newbs" join forums, everyone is just kind of like.... "not again". But really, If you could just point me to some educational threads or just a list of the top E-Cigs out there it would be awesome! When I receive me Super Mini in the mail, I look forward to purchasing another one, possibly one that gives more vapor and such.

Thanks in advance guys! Looking forward to nonstop reading from here on! By the way, sorry for the long post, tried to make it as short as I could!

This forum actually loves noobs! Welcome. I chose a tank for my first because I can use it all day, only refill it twice and the battery stays full throughout the entire day. Now that I have a 510 too, I can see why people deal with the mess that comes with it. It tastes much better.

Check this out. Best price I've found yet. $30 less than I paid.

Hi - the link below is a great educational ecig resource.
<http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/>

You can click on the link or go to the homepage and see the stickies.

A 4081 should work great for you. If you want links to all things ecigs - I would recommend you download a toolbar called "VaporBar." It adds a toolbar that has all vendors listed by category and alphabetically.

Welcome! Please add me as a friend and let me know how it goes!

cant seem to go wrong with a 510 model. should check out kingpincigs.com they price match and free shipping over 20$ so i would say 90% of the time there as cheap or cheaper and i havent had any problems with them (in my short experience bein a vapor .....) I started a few weeks ago and havent had a cig since i went through kingin cause i liked the prices i seen (and the logo is cool to ) from what i have heard most 510's are made at the same few chinese factories so price and cool logo can actually be a semi legitimate reason imo keep in mind im very new to vaping and could be terribly wrong on the 510 thing thats just what i have read several places i am very very pleased with my 510 and have ordered from them since. on a side note from a newbies perspective me being one i would highly recommend buying flavored (fruits are a usually a fail proof flavor) liquids to go with whichever pv (personal vaporizer) you purchase along with it blank cartridges (.49 a pop at kingpin) and a couple cartomizers ( 1.49 a pop at kingpin) I've noticed i dont vape the tobacco flavor as much as i thought i would because why make it taste like crap if it doesnt have too just my opinion though. cartomizers are nice for on the go cause they hold more liquid draw back is they seem to be smoother (if thats even a draw back for some) but at a 1.49 its atleast a good backup .and as far as 510 cartridges go i would totally go to the grocery store pick up some lipton pyramid tea bags (there in the herbal tea section i looked and looked before i finnaly found out where there hidin at) and try the tea bag mod it makes a load of difference Im assuming cause its easier to draw through nice mesh than a bunch of polyester. anyway i joined this forum last night and have gotten great help since im sure i will get corrected on any wrongs and others will have lots of more helpful info for ya

I got my first 510 Ego from cignot.com - they had a great price and a free sample juice that was yummy. Check out Mistress Nomad's videos in the beginner forum for some really good instruction on the different type of ecigs. She was very helpful to me. I'm a DIYer so I get a lot of my stuff from ecigexpress.com and freedomsmokeusa.com. You'll find this is a great bunch with lots of helpful tips! GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!

I think a RN4081 is a great starter kit because you can get them cheap if you shop around and it'll let you figure out what you don't really like about it so you can then wade through all the other options with some idea of what you're looking for. I started with one and then moved on to an eGo, then added a tank atty. I wanted better battery life and the ability to try different kinds of attys, cartos and whatnot. Realistic looking wasn't important to me.

A 510 kit is a great option too because there are lots of options you can get for it to try different things. I'm sure I'll venture into mods someday, but there's still things to try for my eGo yet.

There really is no "Best E-Cig" out there, IMHO, just what's best for YOU. You may still want something that looks like a cigarette. You may want an all day battery. (these two are mutually exclusive, unless you're a very light vaper). You may want massive plumes of vapor, hotter vapor, cooler vapor, tastier vapor. You may want to be able to micromanage every last detail of your vaping experience, from the volts from your battery to the resistance of your atty to the ingredients of your juice.

There's a whole lot of options out there to choose from and it could be the RN4081 is right for you.

There is also a Canada sub-forum and a Canada Suppliers sub-forum which may be helpful to you.

Again, thanks a lot! Really, it means a lot!

I'd go insane trying to find all these things myself, which is why I just LOVE forums. You learn so many things all in one place and the best part is that most often than not, the recommendations, reviews, help, etc.. is NOT BOGUS! Thanks a lot lads/ladies!

I picked up a rn4801 from a local 7/11 and it was the best desisiin yet

Well that makes me feel better about my purchase. I can't wait till mine comes in the mail! :)

Although I am already looking into buying a second kit already. I am wondering if you folks can help me. I'm looking for an e-cig that has:
- super good vapor
- nice throat hit without any burning sensations
- preferably automatic but I can deal with manual
- not too large in size
- black, white, blue, or alluminum in colour.
- blue LED
- easily refillable (I'm fine with carts and atty's, but seems like tanks or cartos are super great)

I saw this video done here: eGo I absolutely LOVE the amount of vapor he gets. Which Model is this?

Also, what do you folks think the best Volcano kits are? I keep seeing their ADS here and they look pretty professional. I love how the site looks and their kits look sweet and reasonably priced. So many things to learn, so many different products, loads of customizations!!! I'm going crazy! Lol! All your responses will not go overlooked! I appreciate each and every persons time they take to respond to me!

I'm new to this as well, I've only been using e-cigarettes for a few weeks, maybe a month now. I started with a Bloog MaxxFusion and it's worked really well for me. Admittedly, I haven't used anything else and I'm not really interested in some of the mods - I wanted something to replace the feeling of having a cigarette in my hand. It's automatic too, but it has an 8 second cut-off (I think) That's only ever been a problem when the liquid I use doesn't give me a good throat hit, but I usually get menthols at 24mg nicotine and you can definitely feel those :D

If you're not really interested in having your PV look and feel like an actual cigarette, some of the bigger and more advanced mods will give you a better experience, but I love the portability of the smaller devices. Things can get a little expensive, but you can't really put a price on getting years of your life back.

Hope I could help!

Welcome to The ECF!

That's an ego tank, using what is probably heavy vg based eliquid. Volcano certainly is a good company, as they get good reviews here. One thing to keep in mind is that pretty much every ego, riva, 510 this, 808 that, are made by a handful of companies in China. So what id do is look for the best price until you (if you) decide on a higher end mod - which will probably be made in the US or Europe. Also, choosing an ECF supplier gives you leverage if you have any problems.

Welcome again!

I'm also new on the forum which I came across after odering my Greensmoke. I'm not impressed with the Greensmoke batteries and for the price i'm a bit dissapointed I rushed into it so i'm sending it back for a refund. However after hours of reseach I came across the Vapor4Life website as I had read in this forum very good reviews about the Vapor King which I have now ordered,. Spent some $ but i'm sure this time I have made the right decision. I will keep you posted.
