thought i would come over and say hi to my neighbours here in canada eh. just started posting on ecf today. for the last couple weeks i have been reading and checking out this web site. great site lots of info a little overwelming at times to much info. i started vaping about 6 wks ago and was able to kick my analog habit after 35 yrs . started with a e health cig that was garbage. but it gave me the idea to google e cigs where it opened up a whole new world i was just amazed at all the e cigs out there. so i thought i would give the e cig another try, glad i did. did a lot of research then made my decision to get a joye egot 1000mah and some juice that got me off my analogs. now i also have a lavatube but im still not quit satisfied with the different juice systems . here what i have tried ce2 clearomizers foreever refilling, cartomizers i dont like the filler idea, 510 drip atty to tedious, 510 t atomizer not bad when its vaping good, tank to small, egot atomizer good when its wicking properly but i hate those dry hits and burnt taste sometimes. so im still searching for that perfect system

all i have to say dano, is grats and welcome to ECF!!! Finding that perfect system is pretty elusive but you'll manage after a while to find your own sweet spot and equipment.
Welcome to the forum, dano! Lots of friendly people with tons of good helpful advise here. You're going to meet some wild and crazy folk here all right but don't let them scare you off.

Welcome dano-bri and congratulations on quitting smoking! ECF is a great place to hang out.
Don't be afraid to spend some dough and some time on different kits and juices. Anything is better than smoking.
I started about a year ago with a 510 and atty, and went through some tank and atty combos, and have finally found what I was looking for, the new XL cartos and dual-coil cartos give a great vape, without too much mucking around with filling or cleaning, or getting those nasty "dry-hits" every once in a while with the atty-tanks, etc.
I'm using the smoktech 1.7 XL cartos. They hold about 1.6 mls and I run 3 or 4mls a day through them (with my Reo mini). I get just over a week before they start to give off less vapour and I chuck them. These things have a great throat hit and vapour production and since I picked them up around 4 months ago, I haven't used anything else since. Cartos have improved greatly since I started vaping a year ago, and can be picked up for testing quite cheaply.
There's also quality atomizers out there that give great vapes, and some proprietary systems that people rave about too. We're all happy to answer your questions if we can.

Heya, welcome!...nice to see another Canadian Vaper ...Ottawa is a ghost town for vapers. I've been really interested in the smoktech tanks from canvape. I think I'm going to give those a shot next cause I'm sick of topping off cartos. I try to keep my purchases mostly Canadian to avoid customs.

Maybe this new proposed ban on smoking everywhere, including bars and public open space such as parks and beaches will create more vapers.
This city is going insane. One day you won't be able to smoke on a patio which is alongside busy streets where there's a constant flow of slow moving/idling cars. Yeah, because that smells better and the by-products don't affect you and your family? Well, it's Ottawa, the place with ample rules and void of logic.

Yeah, this city stinks. Too many rules and regulations ... not enough pondering behind them all.
Good thing we arent smokers anymore though

welcome. my town in Rural Nova Scotia has one other vaper. I am regarded as a freak. But really I am used to that. Grew up here, left, moved around a bunch of cities, settled back here later in life to raise a few new 'freaks' of my own. Around here a freak is defined as anyone who has an open mind -~
