hello to everybody

just starting out on the journey for my wife and i to quit smoking and start vaping. i ordered us 2 ego twist 1100mah batteries and 2 smoktech vivi nova mini's to start out with. will be ordering more tanks and batteries soon. figured it would be a great start with what i have ordered. also some juice from vapedudes and mtbakervapor. havent started yet since i dont have the vivi's but they will be here tomorrow. this forum is very helpful and i have learned a lot already. i have also ordered 20 yards of wick and a 100ft roll of 32 gauge kanthal wire to rebuild the tanks myself. look forward to being a member here and maybe helping others in the future

thank you all. i have been very excited since i made the orders. i cant wait to get started. this forum has helped a bunch. i did not wanna spend a crazy amount of money to get started. i figured i cant go wrong with the ego twist batteries and were not a bad price. i will later upgrade to one of the nice batteries that shows the voltage and ohms but im not worried about that just yet . i ordered the 10 pack of 10ml bottles from vapedudes and a 15ml bottle of monster energy from mbv. i love how fast mbv shipped out my juice and most say that you can vape the monster right away. i have read about steeping and some of the juice i ordered will have to.

thanks and im sure i will have a lot more fun later on. im the kinda person who cant leave stuff alone. i was already planning on moddig my nova as soon as i get it lol. cant wait to get into it more. but that will come in time. i didnt read much about vapedudes. seen a few vids and read a little. then i stumbled up on the mbv 450+ page thread and check out there site. seen they had monster and ordered it right away. i love monster energy drinks so that should be nice to vape.

one question i have is about how much juice does a average person go through a day. im not a very heavy smoker. i dont chain smoke and dont smoke in the house or around the kids. just go out and have a smoke once in awhile

did you buy the wire and wick for rebuilding the vivi nova? or are you planning on buying an RBA? be careful on the wraps, might get to high of ohms and won't get a satisfying vape w/ the ego twists, due to lack of power. welcome to the forum btw!

yes i am gonna rebuild my nova's when needed. i have a digital multimeter to ohm out the coils after i rebuild them. i am thinking im gonna swap the 1.8 ohm coil on before i try it. i think that will be a good spot for me.

One thing about ECF, average is neither here nor there. There are many many variables. Seeing as you were not a heavy smoker, I would say 2 to 4 ml. Most likly on the lower side of that.

I ordered the monster from MBV for my husband & he loves it! He used it right out of the package. He has went through about 7ml of juice in the past 2 days in a protank. I haven't even went through 3ml yet.... I typically smoke way more analogs than he does, but he seems to be vaping way more than I am!!

-ordered a nice selection of juices !

You and your wife are well on your way to becoming 'Vapers' !!!

When you get your kit...
Take your time, vape up a storm and don't 'rebuild' anything yet.
Get your feet wet Vaping and drinking plenty of water...
You will find that Vaping tends to dry you out, and you also want to flush those old toxins out of your system.
After you have vaped some fine juice for a day or so...
Your old ciggys will taste awful !
And you too (two) will have become full fledged Vaping fools !!!

We are here for support, advice, questions...successes.....
And are rooting for you both !!!

thanks for the positive feedback i appreciate it from all of you. i will take your advice and just fill it up and start vaping. after all i am very impatient right now waiting for the arrival of the monster juice and tanks tomorrow lol. i drink plain or flavored water all day everyday. i gave up on pop. i am also hoping to get my mom into this. she has been smoking cigs for 25 to 30 years. i have gone over the whole thing with her and she seems like she would try it. i found a nice little purple ego setup for her im thinking about buying after she tries one of ours. my as well get her into it so we can all be healthier. now off to do some more reading

I've had the Mocha Java Drizzle & Strawberry Lemonade - both are very good after a bit of steeping

thats good to know daleron. i am a little worried about the strawberry lemonade. mbv says it can mess with tanks. i guess we will see
