hi. . Im new to vape. .. Its been about 2 weeks since i had last cigarette.. I ordered e liquids from couple of vendors here.. I bought 2 ego type batteries one from joyetech 1000mah not sure of brand name and 1100mah with 2 vivi nova tanks.. One tank i have 2.4ohms. . Other i changed 2.4 to 1.8 and now i have 2.8ohms. i thought 1.8 ohms produce more vapor. . 1.8 is not making more vapor than 2.8.. Did i mess up on something?? What batteries do u guy recommend for vivi nova tanks? not too expensive and will last.. Thanks for ur help

JoyTech is the brand ;) No worries, it's all still new to you. Are they the twist? If they are, just turn the dial up on the bottom. Turn it up a
little at a time until you hit what you like. If it starts tasting too hot or burnt, dial it down a little. Those batteries and the Nova's are a great combo.

Welcome to ECF :)

Here is some helpful info for a newcomer. Vapor is dependent on several factors:
Type of Atty, wick.
Ohms and voltage combo being WATTS. Most use between 4-10 watts typically around 8 watts IME.
Type of juice.
Age of the wick and coil and how clean it is.
Type of juice.
Here is a chart, calculator, explanation of coils, abbreviations, how to clean many attys and juice that will melt or crack tanks.

i have to agree with the one post, do you have the twist dial on the bottom? and usually nova heads never exactly match what the rating is. probably closer to 2 ohms and 2.9 ohms - not much real difference.

and with manual batteries its wise to fire the button for about 1/2 second or so before actually taking a drag.

while one will put out more vapor then the other it wont be exponential. meaning just because you went up one whole ohm doesnt mean it's going to be a massive amount of extra vapor, there is always a point where we hit maximum vapor output them it just gets hot and tastes burnt
