Hello ECF: First post!

I'm pretty new to vaping (I bought my first disposable not quite 2 months ago) and have become a little obsessed: I've purchased 145.9 mL of juice and $165.65 in equipment so far.

I've been dripping dewicked joye 510 attys and have been pretty happy with my experience to date. I haven't seen any of the unreliability that seems to be common around here. The first two attys from my cignot kit are still going strong and I grabbed 10 backup 510 attys (marked "2.2 B") from VaporKings. I tested them all but am pretty much still just using the first two.

I'm less happy about batteries. I have two standard and two XL batteries and frankly none of them lasts all that long. I find myself easily going through all four batteries in a day and I'm not a heavy vaper (maybe .5 mL/day).

So, I'm considering upgrading to a variable voltage battery unit (i.e., ProVari, Lavatube, etc.) and am looking for some real world experiences and information about battery life. What's the best unit in terms of cost-to-performance? What about user interface? I know the ProVari is popular but the "click the button 15 times to set voltage" (or whatever) seems kind of laughable. What other criteria am I not thinking of? Basically any advice for a new vaper about VV batteries would be appreciated.

I know there's lots of information about this around the forum, but I figured since I can't post anywhere else, I'd say hello and ask a question at the same time.

Thanks!

You only click the button 5 times to adjust the voltage up.You can then hold the button down and it will climb all the way to 6.0 volts before cycling back to 2.9 volts. Isnt nearly as complicated or hard as some people make it sound.

If your using the same brand dripping atomizer at the same resistance consistently all the time then Id recommend Variable Voltage.

If you like Rebuildable Atomizers, have a bunch of different juices that you like at different voltages or switch out atomizer resistances or accessories often then VW is the way to go as you can set your vape at 8 watts for example and it adjusts the voltage automatically for you.
