if you're craving a cig then i'd suggest upping your nic level to around 18mg. i understand what you mean about not wanting to overdo it, i was the same at the start. always felt like i needed a cig. then on the advice of ecf members i increased my nic level. i now vape 24mg as standard, but i do have some that are like 8mg that i go onto later in the day. what i noticed was a) i wasnt craving the cig any more b) i used it less.................dont be afraid to up the nic level, it'd take hell of a lot of vaping at a higher level to be dangerous. the first thing to break is the smoking habit..............i went down the my e-cig needs to look like a real cig route and failed. did the same routine with it, would go outside with it, use on breaks at work (outside), failed! I changed my whole routine with the e-cig, increased nic, and now im not dependant on it. the other day all my batteries were dead and it didnt even bother me. put them on charge and carried on with my day.................though later on i did realise i had a pass through in the draw that i could have used lol. I hope this works for you at the level you're at........just don't suffer needlessly because you don't want to use a little more nic :)

Thanks for the advice, gonna try it. :) My only worry at the moment is that I only have this one riva 901 battery and what to do when it runs out of charge! I've got the DSE901 charger from my first kit and it fits onto that but I don't know if it will charge it ok. I work in IT so I understand with laptop chargers but I dont know the amperage or volts of this charger or the battery, any ideas? I really don't want to be waiting days for a charger to come through the post because I am determined to stick with this, even if I could just keep this battery going while I waited for the proper charger and some more bits like spare battery and atty etc... :)

I think it will charge it but probably take like 5 hours. The Riva 901 charger is quicker than the Riva 510. charge time for 510 would be 3 - 3 1/2 hours, 901 was like 2 - 2 1/2 hours. So I take it you just bought the battery? I would have got the starter kit myself, works out so much better value for money. I couldn't decide between the riva 901 and riva 510 so got both, now I have the 901 just sat there doing nothing.......I use the tank atty's now and they come with 510 thread, but i always had a preference for the 510 any ways. i did buy the 901-510 adapter but broke one because it kept get stuck in the tank atty, so haven't used it since. for around £10 you can buy a pass through that will help with battery issues. though i preach this I have an expensive pass through that i never use :s

Please excuse me if I misread your post, but I just wanted to be absolutely sure you get what I mean.

I have a DSE901 charger (from DSE901 starter kit, little ciggy pen style batteries) and bought a (larger) Riva 901 battery to power my new low resistance 901 atty. Will the DSE901 charger charge the much bigger Riva 901 battery?

Thanks again and I apologise in advance if you did already get what I meant and its me misunderstanding you, I'm just worried about breaking my lovely riva battery!

Oh my I've experienced Chantix and I would never recommend it to anyone. I was able to quit smoking while I took it (eventually started smoking again after the pills). I think the only reason I didn't want to smoke was because I was so violently nauseated the whole time.
Besides the nausea the Chantix really really did a number on my head. I only took it for two weeks, about two years ago, and I swear I still sometimes wonder if the little panic attacks I get were caused by the Chantix (never had them before).
Good luck! I've already quit smoking but I'm anxiously awaiting my eCig in the mail!

hehehe, wifey is starting to go a little crazy on the champix now, day 9 I think and she is having bad dreams and flipping out at everything! It's not funny but I'm just glad others are saying the same things because obviously she thinks its me :)

I am NOT taking my champix prescription, I've decided already. I don't care how hard it turns out to be I am not smoking, I will vape and get through it. No way I'm allowing myself to turn into a dragon over some fda approved psycho pills, one of us has to stay sane for the kids!

Oh I don't know if there is a special section for this, but while we are all singing Liberty Flights praises... if you quote my name in capitals (DUNCANDISORDELY) you'll get 10% discount, then once you have an account you can do the same for others if you wish.

Ps no its not my real name, just a nickname I picked up years ago and liked, well it's better than 'duncan donuts' or any of the others I went through in school etc!

Welcome to the Forum,

I chuckled at your subject title, 'Hello World'. That fits perfectly with the discovery of pv's (e-cigs). It IS like a whole new world opens up to us once we discover pv's.

I share your enthusiasm for Liberty Flights. They are top-notch suppliers, with excellent pricing, super discount, great products, low shipping rates AND they give you the option of earning money for product reviews. Highly recommend them and use them myself.

As to juice. Taste is subjective. Some I like. Some are not to my taste. I find their juice prices to be about average. I do Not go cheap on juice. Did that a couple times when I first started and was not satisfied. I tend to stick with the average to higher priced juices as I find they seem to have a better flavor. Liberty Flights fits into that average price range (in my opinion)

It is nice to meet you. Glad you found us.
Happy Vaping,
Paula

Round 2. My computer just erased everything I spent the last 10 minutes typing. Now that is frustrating. So I'll condense.
This is my first post. I really wanted to reply to a review about JC and became a member. I've been reading through this site for a couple months now. I was frustrated to find that I have to make 5 posts in the newbie area first before being allowed to post in the thread I wanted. However I do understand why. I wasn't sure what to post until I saw this thread and it stood out to me. Hello World! I've been slowly learning C++ over the past couple of years and thought how fitting for my first post. Anywho thanks for having me and I hope I get to add my contributions soon.
