Just thought i would start posting rather then sitting on the sidelines. I've been looking through this forum for the last couple weeks and finaly ordered a DSE901 from e-smokeytreats on Friday. Still waiting for it to show up.. There is a ton of information here and i have enjoyed all the videos all over this site.

Really looking forward to kicking this pack a day habit and becoming healthier.

YEAHHH!!! my DSE901 just got here and already got my first "Mouthful of nic juice" lol.. Both atomizers seem to be working but only one battery has a charge to it. the other wouldn't work on either atty. Hooked it up the charger and it blinked orange 6-8 times but the charger light is green? Does that mean it already has a charge or should i just leave it in the charger till the first batt dies?

Welcome aboard! Yes, if it's green - it should be charged (my DSE901 from China shipped 90% charged too, so I guess it's not uncommon.) I suppose it wouldn't hurt to leave it overnight the first time, just to be sure. Once you're into the swing of things, you don't have to wait until your other battery's flat - I did read a post saying it was easier on the batteries to change as soon as the other one's ready (so they will last more cycles,) - I'm no Li-expert, but it sounds good to me.

been sitting here sort of smoking like a normal cig ( a puff or two every few minutes). not getting much vapor. using one or the med cart that came with my kit and dropped some of the low cherry i ordered on the cart and the atty. Defiantly getting some of the nic buzz but nothing i would call a throat hit( not enough vapor maybe). Taste similar to one of those flavored cigs you can buy at most gas station counters... That make any since?

A couple of suggestions:

1. It takes usually an hour to a half day to break in an atomizer. Put a drop or two of liquid on the atomizer coil to help break it in.
2. Always keep the filler in the cart moist. Not overflowing but moist.
3. If you are not getting much throat hit with the 901, try holding your finger over the atomizer hole for a second or two as you first inhale, take it off and continue to inhale. This will heat up the atomizer a little more similar to a manual switch PV.

Vaping does have a learning curve.

Good luck.

Hi Rahvin,
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your decision. I, too, am new - only been vaping two weeks, but was also pack a day for 40 years, and this is the only thing that has worked for me. For me, the first day I found that vaping was not exactly like smoking, because you are not getting the tar and other nasty chemicals the cigs have, but I just stuck with it. Then in a day or two, it became just like smoking for me. And, it satisfied my cravings and was a totally satisfying alternative (and replacement.) So, hang in there, and best wishes. The forum is very supportive and loads of great advice here. Congrats!

hmmm almost out of analogs and my single battery is still charging... gonna have to ake a decision on weather or not to go to the store tonight or not.... btw how many hours should i be able to get out a battery with low to moderate usage???

On a 901? I guess I'd get less than 3 hours if I'm hitting it to the exclusion of my other devices, but I'm a fairly heavy user I guess (and I more often vape from device to device, since I have different flavours loaded up in them.)
It depends how much "low to moderate" means, but something more than that. Maybe 4-5? But only experience will tell.

You don't need to wait for it to fully charge though, if you're stuck with just one battery. Vape it, and then plug it back in the charger till you want to vape again. I often do that at work when I don't have all my gear with me, and even vaping 4-5 times an hour it's possible to keep a battery going indefinitely.

Hey Rahvin

I have been reading and watching for sometime as well. My first purchase was a little over a month ago the 901 from e-smokey treats as well as a sample e-liquid pack from Johnson creek, but I still missing something. Vapor was missing for me. Then did a little more searching and reading and bought a 801 from Vapor Options and I must say I absolutely love it.
