Hi all,
I smoked cigs from 60's to 80's. Switched to pipes until a couple of years ago and learned not to inhale. I use the nicotine gum, but still grab a bag of Backwoods Honey berry cigars when the urge to smoke hits. I'm puzzled by that urge as the gum is enough to satisfy the nic addiction. Maybe it's just enjoyment of smoke flavor and now I'm hoping for vapor. My friend Reddog1 taught me a little about vaping so I'm trying it out. I took advantage of a closeout deal advertised on here by Goode juice. I got a Green Life starter kit with two units and chargers. It's basically the Hello 16 with the cone attys and whopping 1300mah batteries. It came with seven tank fillable non-piercing tank cartridges. They hold a good amount of fluid. Looks like the way they work is drawing on the cartridge causes low pressure in the atty and fluid drops out of the wadding in the cartridge end into the atty. The cartridges won't keep up with repeated draws, but drawing on the cart without power will bring down some drops and vapor volume comes back up. I think the cartridges can be improved by experimenting with the wadding, juice thickness and a little surgery on the air passages to remove flash. These units can produce enough vapor to satisfy a pipe/cigar smoker.
Thanks much for this forum and all your posts. I've learned alot in a day.
Happy vaping!
