Hi and welcome to the ECF :)
Your best bet is to read a couple of the stickies above in this forum and ask a few questions before you buy a kit. There are a lot of really good suppliers on this site and an equal or greater number of bad ones out in cyberspace. Lots of folks here, like myself, found this forum after buying over priced and or inferior E-Cigs from the hyped up sites or 7-11s. The Ploom appears to be a butane powered PV. It's a novel concept but....you're locked into buying their flavor pods and refilling the thing with gas. What is generally used here is a battery powered atomizer that produces vapor. Same concept, vastly different approach.

Hi rwnielsen
thank you for your reply. I have read around a bit, do you have a recommendations? I did try the 7-11 disposable ones, didn't like them, I also did try the volcano brand but the smoke is weak not that strong. If you can kindly recommend a couple of brands that would be much appreciated, US suppliers are OK as well as I have a US address in WA. I am not set on the ploom brand but it was one option

thanks again

Hi again
Liberty Flights is well liked for kits around here. Anything with a "510" connection will give you a lot of choices.

Freedom Smokes is a good place as well. I've bought a lot of different flavors of juices from them. You can order in various strengths of nicotine. I use 24mg, you may like less, maybe 18mg or 12mg.
You're going to have to find out for yourself .... everybody has different tastes.

These are just 2 of many suppliers here
Ask a lot of questions and the folks 'round here will be more than happy to help :)

510, eGO, eGO-T, Riva are some that come first to mind. Each have their own goods and bads. I started with a 510 because it was most "cigarette" like. I now use eGO-T with 1100 mah battery. Look around on the forum and there are some polling threads about favorite rigs. I would suggest that, whatever model you start with, go ahead and get a starter-kit instead of trying to assemble a rig from scratch. It will save some hassle in the beginning.

and again......:)

I should add that if you get the Riva 510 kit I linked above, you'll need some liquid (juice)for it.
I would strongly suggest that you but a number of samples as opposed to a big bottle or 2.
I initially thought I wanted tobacco flavors (I have several on the shelf) but now I primarily use cinnamon roll. Go figure :)
Good luck
Take your time
Enjoy

KR808D-1 is the most powerful slim ecig - see Vapor4Life and a different style at SmokelessImage. I recommend manual batteries for all ecigs. Easier to get a good hit and usually sealed better so the batteries are harder to damage or kill with juice leaks. Vapor4Life manuals have a standard size button and are mostly sealed. SmokelessImage only has manuals in some colors - they are totally sealed, have slightly longer charge but have a tiny button taht is partially recessed and requires more effort to press. I recommend the standard/78mm batteries which make a 120mm ecig.

For more power than that, go fat battery (Ego, Riva 510 - see Liberty-Flights.com and press the 20% off before shopping) or mos are another option. These can use lower resistance atomizers and cartomizers (will be blanks) for hotter bigger hits.
