After a few weeks of looking about I decided I'd sign on here since this site appears to have a good knowledge base about e-cigs and a friendly population to answer questions.

I figured I'd get the introduction out of the way since its customary before I start posting anything else:p

After nearly a year of trying to quit smoking or at least find a less deadly alternative I found out about e-cigs and decided to give them a try. Long story short, after using many "cheap" models I went and did some research and came across this website and was able to make a decision.:vapor:

The friendliest! I'm continually amazed at how nice everyone here is. It's refreshing. :) Congratulations on your discovery and on your new journey!

I chose the 902 model from Modern Vapor, and so far I'm impressed with pretty much everything from that company. After reading about the Sidesho and 902, I chose the 902 over it due to it appearing to be the "step-up" from the Sidesho. I needed something to not just satisfy my habit for nicotine but to make the experience more enjoyable, so the 902 was it.

I will have to say that I'm more than likely going to stick with the pre-filled cartridges as I don't really care much for the refillable caps etc. I'm also fairly active and on the move in both my work and personal life. But I do have to say once again I'm very impressed, and I wished I would have known about this when I was overseas. It would have saved me a decent amount of time and money:laugh:

I smoked traditional cigarettes for about 10 years and just became increasingly concerned about my health as I began to notice what they were doing to my body, but at the same time quitting was like pulling teeth. So that's basically how I ended up here:2cool:

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I do have a question, after looking around a bit I couldn't find anything real specific to what I'm about to ask.

Right now I'm just trying to get used to my 902 and I'm using the pre-filled cartridges that it came with. The first one that I put on was great but then the second one I put on had a bit of an issue while I was at work today.

It started to leak a bit, which from what I read can happen on occasion but it got a bit worse as the day went on and I ended up losing roughly half of the juice. I noticed the fluid had pooled up a bit on the contacts so I cleaned it off only to find that it was still happening and I hadn't used my 902 much. So my question is, did I do something wrong here or does this happen sometimes with the prefilled cartridges? Perhaps it was seated incorrectly?

Any thoughts?
