I've been a member for a while here, but have just recently really started getting into reading some of the threads. I started vaping around May this year and haven't bought a pack since. Started with the Kgo kit, but just ordered a Provari a few days ago. I've been reading posts about how they love it and couldn't resist trying one myself. Can't wait til it arrives in the mail.

I've got a couple of Boge LR cartos and Resurrectors left. I was going to try it at 3.7V and maybe bump it up to around 4V if needed. That sound like an ok range?

I also saw a few posts with people using higher resistance cartos to go at a higher voltage. What difference is there with using standard+ resistance cartos and a higher voltage?

4v will really wake up a LR carto. You'll probably be satisfied with the performance, but if you're vaping heavy, or pulling loooong drags, the carto can get pretty hot.

The std resistance carto (~3ohm) will work fine up till about 6v for most vapers. Some guys will run them at 7-7.4v, but thats too hot for me. I'm in love with 5ohm cartos @ 7.4v in a RoughStack Maxi. CLOUDS of warm vapor, no overheating device, still maintains decent run-time (about 1 day), and I'm getting nearly a month of life out of a carto (juice dependant). Most I ever got with a LR carto at 3.7v+ is 10 days.

Yes I ran my Don with LR at 6 VOlts and it was too much. Next PV I buy will be a VV as I think 4.5 maybe my sweet spot.

Vapoor eyes er: Yea, another (soon to be) Provari owner. I couldn't resist anymore
You guys are terrible if I'm gonna save any dough :D
