Hi everyone, a quick hello and intro from the UK. Just started vaping with a small cartomizer kit from VIP. Only had it for three days but so far so good.
Haven't managed to quit the analogues completely yet but have been able to cut right down. Well be better when I find a good flavour, the ones I have seem to have a bit of a sweet after taste which I am not to keen on.
I can already see me upgrading in the near future probably looking at something like an ego system, any advice on whether this is a good set up and what I should be looking for when purchasing?

Welcome to the ECF
Ego/Kgo are a tried & true system. Try one of the vendors here on ECF. Just remember, if YOU like it & it works for YOU....Win, Win. As far as tasty fluid goes, I'd suggest trying sampler packs from several vendors. I would not recommend buying alot of any flavor til you know you like it.

My main set-up is an eGo-C tank system. I like it a lot better than cartos, and you can just fill up a tank and go. That's the set-up that finally got me to quit smoking after a couple of years of dabbling with e-cigs. Plus, with the new eGo Twist battery, you can play around with variable voltage!!!

You will soon upgrade and you will spend a lot of fun time trying your right flavours and the perfect hardware!
For me vaping has become also a great hobby and it is an important part that helps quit smoking!

If i can give my advice go for an Ego-W as cartom and try the Ego Twist as battery to have a portable VV system

Another good configuration you could go for is a DCT ... Punched Dual Coil cartoms inside a Tank

hello sweeney...I just got my ego stuff yesterday, very happy. Here's what I did...I bought 2 ego 1000 mah batteries, usb charger and wall adapter, and 3 clearomizer tanks as opposed to buying a starter kit...however, onestopdiy.com had an ego starter kit with same batteries, chargers, and some other stuff for $40...however, the only clearomizers they offered were the low resistance variety...I don't even know what that means! But that's about $10 cheaper than I paid (which you may or may not end up paying in shipping). I got my setup form altsmoke.com...very fast shipping(3 business days, no charge) I hope this helps.

Chrissie, thanks for all the info, nice to speak to another UK member. I had heard that the VIP carts can be refilled and will look into that sooner rather than later.
