Welcome and yes took me a few weeks to learn most of what's here to learn. still find new stuff everyday that helps me out

Are you saying that it is a learning experience and can be costly at first?
Are you saying that it can be a struggle at times, and takes some effort and commitment?
It sounds like you are just trying to discourage kids from using it.
We all know that it tastes like cotton candy and yummy tum-tum balls.
And it's SO much easier than stealing a smoke from your parents, or bumming one from a friend.

Thanks for the warm wishes, advice and yes, even sarcasm... asI adore sarcasm (to an extent that is Ordered my first ecig after a bit a research on here. Decided to go with Shawn at LitecigUSA and that guy has CRAZY fast shipping! YEA! (Thanks Shawn!) and so I am charging up for the next day.
I decided to go with one of the 401 kits that had extra batteries and atomizers as some suggested. I should have gotten another charger as well, but oh well, had to stick within my ciggy budget, and wanted to save the last few dollars for more carts or liquid later this month.
Got some carts to start and some vanilla liquid to graduate to (as i sometimes like to smoke Vanilla Dreams as a treat...) now gonna look up more info on dripping, etc.
Wish me luck! and I sure hope I like it, because if i don't, I am stuck since that was most of my ciggy budget for the month! lol

Welcome. And if you enjoy your new purchase as much as I do mine you won't think of an analog. I also used this site for the base of my research before purchase.

Ok, so I tried out my 401, and I think the taste is decent (Marlboro--it has a stronger taste than my usual Marlboro lights) but I can get used to it
Also, the throat hit feels good enough to replace the analogs. BUT i am missing the smoke! Not much smoke upon exhale--but again, I guess I am just going to have to deal with it, as this is my whole cig budget! Whoops!<wink
Any suggestions on how i can get more smoke from the 401? I am also curious about what models produce more smoke--as it may be feasible to get another model in next month's budget.
My suggestion is to sell the 401 in the classified section here and buy a 510 manual known for the best vapor of the 'cigarette-like' styles. The 901 with a manual switch would be another possible but the 510 has the better accessories I believe.
I don't have one, so I can't say for sure.
But if you just got it, the atomizer MIGHT need a little breaking in.
Try blowing out all the juice, putting two drops on the atomizer bridge, then taking a few consecutive puffs where you inhale briefly, exhale quickly, inhale briefly, exhale quickly, without inhaling to your lungs.
Get that atomizer heated up and cooking.
It sounds stupid, and I may be full of crap, but I have caused atomizers to awaken after doing this about 3 or 10 times. And if that isn't it, then maybe you aren't working your automatic batteries correctly. Watch yourself in the mirror and figure out what you need to do to get and keep the battery on as long as possible. The little light will tell you when the battery is on.
Report back your findings and we can work from there.

Oh, and as a side note, I found that I can not get my automatic batteries to stay on as long as I need, no matter what I do. So I have learned to take two or three consecutive drags, stopping once the light goes out for just a second, and then starting again.
But then, I am a power smoker it seems, so your mileage may vary.
And yes, I don't have these problems with my manual battery 510 model.

I did get the 401 to put out a bit more vapor after a bit of usage, but I went ahead and ordered the 501 from LiteCig anyway, since everyone says it puts out a lot more "smoke". Again, Shawn was super fast with shipping and even sent a little extra juice that I think is the Power Puff--looks yellowish and is labeled PP tho!!! lol--but smells delish
At this point, I am using the 401 quite a bit, but I still seem to use the analogs about twice a day. Still, I have only bought 2 packs of analogs since I started using the Ecig, so I should be able to make up the cost of the Ecig purchases within 3 months compared if I take into consideration the cost of a carton these days.
Charging my 501 tonight, since it came in the mail today. I am hoping to be able to let go of the analogs completely once I have more "smoke" coming outta the 501. So, I should break even more quickly.
Any way, I am gonna use this thread to keep track of my "quitting smoking with Ecigs" progress. Costs, concerns, general how it is going. And comments are welcome
