Hi to the forum.

I'm fairly new to the e-cig, and I have been doing some research here. Probably not researching as much as I should be, but I guess I'll find out soon.

I went out on a whim and bought the blu kit from the tobacco store. Really wish I had done my homework first. The blu seems to be a reliable system, but there are some major flaws. I won't get into them unless asked, but as you may expect, I am moving on from the Blu as fast as I can.

I am now waiting on my Joye Ego C. I hope to get more nicotine and a better smoking experience than Blu offered. I also have to find a way to order juice and supplies without getting bent over for shipping or waiting a week before being shipped. Blu took about 3 weeks before i finally canceled my order and moved on. So if there are any suggestions for a trusted supplier I would appreciate it.

Other than that, I'll see you guys in the forums. Thanks for letting me hang out. Great info on the site. Nice search feature to dig it out. Like what you guys are doing here. :)

Joe, welcome to the boards!
I'm new here as well so I do not have much experience with many vendors. There is a vendor list/forum if you scroll down far enough on the list of subforums. Be on the look out for promo codes that can ease the pain of shipping costs a bit.
From what it looks like, most juices are mixed to order. This is why there is a little bit of lead time and why a few sites recommended steeping. I've ordered from ECBlend and VapingZone, and both have gotten the order to me in less than 5 days.

The Ego C...I'm not sure if all ego-c models are a twist or not but if you got the variable voltage one, then you will enjoy the additional power. You will also want to delve into the various delivery systems when you can afford to experiment. The Ego is widely recommended for the new user and for good reason. I think you will like it and don't hesitate to ask questions.

Welcome to the forum!

A warm welcome to you Joe51. You are going to find lots of folks here recommending lots of different vendors. I'e been vaping for about 15 months and have ordered from a lot of different vendors -- never had to wait long for them to ship it or for me to get it. I hope you get some better experience from other vendors!

Thanks for the welcomes!

@h2three - thanks for the recommendations. Not sure what you mean by "steeping", but I'm sure a quick google will solve that.

Sadly, vsummer, I bought from a retail outlet and have had it more than a month now. I tried several different things to make it work for me. After all that time and money, I've decided it just isn't suited for someone who smokes a pack a day full flavors. I could keep filling the carts with stronger juice, but what a pain in the neck... I'm hoping I can sell it on craigslist or something for half price. At least get some back. Thanks for the advice, though.

Hey hey! Deals and Steals bookemarked. :)

Thanks for the other recommendations as well. I did order a sample from johnson creek. Bottle cost as much as shipping. Wasted it all playing around with Blu's cartos. lol. Also took more than week to get to me. And ordering from Blu is crazy!! 3 weeks and they still hadn't shipped my new carts. WOW. I called them and they said couldn't take my call. Tried to chat with them and they said they couldn't chat with me. Took me several days just to cancel a 3 week old unfilled order. Crazy. Hopefully, now that I have the equipment needed, I'll be able to look around for someone that wants my business.

Good Day all.

welcome Joe51, im new to vaping (6 months about) and just a few days on the forum.

i started much the same as you have, first with the cigarrette looking thngs and soon moved to the ego-c system
i like the ego and still charge up the ego battery and vape with it for a change from my battery mod im using now.

the ego c works great, i soon learned the atty's are a bit expensive and didnt last long, so i change atty's and found that to be better

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I actually dread dealing with a third piece. I thought the point of the ego C is you can just replace the head and not the atty. Supposed to be cost effective. LOL. Ohh well... won't know how it goes until it gets here... liberty flights still hasn't shipped it...

I expect it to pull me off analogs completely. The blu just couldn't give me enough satisfaction to not think I needed one. Either that or there is something extra in the analogs I feel like I need. Maybe I'll jump over to the blu forum and rip em one. Feel like they stole my money and laughed to the bank. lol.

Joel if they still haven't shipped it cancel your order, you can get the same battery (2x twists would be better) add a few of Kanger T3 clearomizers plus ego battery charger and you will still be left with change. And a Better vaping experience.

I use Liberty Flights in the UK and they offer excellent service here, but if their US division still haven't shipped out, thats poor.

OMG!!

Got my ego in the mail today. Still haven't gone through a single battery - about 12 hours now. :)

Also, this thing always produces a quality drag. Blu wasn't even close. This is more like it. Still worried about reliability and the rumored leaks, but as of today, two tanks, one battery, and one very very happy ex-smoker.

I smoked an analog earlier mostly just for comparison purposes, and I'm now sure that I'll actually be able to do this. :)

Thanks to those of you suggesting ego to newbies. If this thing remains this easy to operate after some where and tear, I'll never try another device or smoke an analogue again.

now to start exploring liquids. :)
