Welcome to ECF. My daughter and I just "graduated" to Kanger Evod setups after almost 2 years of using cigalikes. We had already stopped smoking 7-8 years ago. Started
vaping a little over 2 years ago when stress and cravings were starting to make smoking again sound tempting.
vaping has kept us from going back.
I do not dry burn - yet. I do, however, keep the used heads. I put them in a small amount of distilled water to soak. Since we have 3 cats and a dog, and my grandson has autism, I use a snack container with a well-fitting lid. When I have a few, I drain the dirty water and put the heads in an old coffee mug, sprinkle them with some baking soda, and pour some white vinegar into the cup. Once it stops foaming, make sure all the
coils are covered with liquid. I let them stand a few hours to overnight, swirling them around once in a while. Then I take them out, one by one, and rinse thoroughly in running water as hot as I can stand it, making sure to run some water into the holes in the chimney and bottom. Blow excess water out, and drain on a couple of paper towels folded into quarters. I let them air dry, then put them into a small clean container with a lid, ready for use when I need them. Of course, I also thoroughly wash out the containers I use for soaking the heads.
