Hello everyone. :)

I finally registered here after lurking around the site for a few months. i love how supportive everyone on this site appears to be, I don't see many people belittling others, which is nice. I hope I can meet some new friends and eventually contribute!

I started using blue ecigs a couple years ago and recently switched over to an ego twist, after a month of using that and reading many threads on this forum I ended up with a dna 30 mod. I love this mod and it makes everything taste and work better than on my ego, however the battery I bought was a Trustfire and it keeps tripping when fully charged, only when fully charged, and is losing capacity rather quickly. I've checked it with a multimeter and i am not overcharging or anything. I assume it's a battery issue so I am waiting on a Efest IMR 3100mah 20A to show up in the mail. Do you guys think it's a battery issue or an issue with the dna 30 chip?

current setup is 2.1 ohm coil at 11 watts for my watermelon and dr. pepper flavor, and 1.8 ohm coil at 7 watts for my banana and redbull flavors.

The Trustfire batteries are kinda hit and miss... I'll admit that I bought a few of them back when... now, I stick with Sony VTC4's and 5's... they are at the top of the list for mech mods, but they are also perfectly fine for VV-VW mods... I do still have a Panasonic in my VV-VW Tesla (the thing has a crazy high mA/h rating and just keeps hanging in there, I've been using it for about 2 years or so!)
I say try a new battery and see how it goes... batts are cheaper than mods any day! If a new batt doesn't fix your problem, then you'll know it's in the DNA30
