So I purchased two Just GG mods with Ithaka updated no res versions from fluidvaper.com and the ithaka came with the 501 part attached to the just GG lid. I have tried so hard to take them apart and still don't have any luck. So I couldn't use my 501 ohm meter, so I then purchased an analog multimeter. Built the coils, with 32 g Kantha about 2 inches worth of, l and 2mm Ecowool silica wicks. Tested the coil, and it was reading .2-.6 ohm. So I then just today purchased a digital multimeter and the coil I built already now reads at 5.5 ohms. It smokes great, doesn't get hot etc. I rebuilt another coil with about 1 inch worth at 1.4 ohms and it's burning up my wick and taste disgusting. I test the coil after it is attached to the ithaka. I'm so aggravated with this. I tried talking to fluidvaper about the parts that came assembled and won't come apart in hopes they will help fix this issue.... I'm currently waiting to order the just GG lid and 501 piece off of another website when it comes in stock.. I use batteries Rcr123a 3.0 750mah two of them making 6 v for the whole mod... My friends have the exact same pieces with the older ithaka and doesn't have a problem... Yes I am new to this, and I'm trying so hard to get this done right. Please help.
