The oly dumb questions are the ones you don't ask. :thumb:
Amen, and apologies Hans and I have hijacked your thread. What we're saying is we aren't really into all the cloudthrowing some other people are. You may be, or you may wind up not being. But you won't know until you try, and the only way to try is with a hi-powered mod and have at it. We're saying we went that route, and didn't like it all that much. It's hot vape, for one thing. For another, it's kinda overload. But try it. Get a high powered mod and crank it up. If you like it, great! If not, the mod will still be fine, because it can be turned down. If you vape a 200W mod at 30 or 35 watts, the batteries will last for days. That's good news. But the important thing is, once you try, then you will know. This is why I suggested a TC mod in addition to high power. Then you can try two different things for one price tag. If you like either one, great. You don't have to use the other, and in the future you'll have a better idea of what you should be looking for. I am not disappointed in my SW-- indeed, I love it-- just because I don't intend to run it to the top of the scale. It's a dam nice mod.

mechs, reg mods, sw?
Mechs are mechanicals, no electronics. Just you, the mod, batteries, build your own coils, and Ohms law. Reg is "regulated" like the Snow Wolf of the iPV4. They're real useful. It's a hard thing to leave mechs behind-- not that I'll ever quit completely-- but the regulated ones are very nice. You can attain vape parameters that are not available with mechs. Some of these are very nice. I can, and will, explain all that in much greater detail, if you like.

Please dont confuse hijacking for helping a newbie. I appreciate it.

Welcome to your new home....lol...I'm a tootle puffer...and am happy with that. Current gear of choice is a ProVari mini with Protanks. You'll find what you like eventually...lol...my goal was to replace my nicotine quickly and efficiently, not blow clouds. Everyone here is here to help.

Hello and Welcome bamadude
Well theres many devices out there.
I don't have one but a Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro 60W seem good for mods with a built in battery.
I used a sigelei mod for a while and it was good , there are a few of those out and a new temp one - though I'd wait for more reviews to come out on that one.

24mg juice on a sub ohm atty will be very strong.

My wife and I saved our cigarette money up and took a beach trip. There was another couple there vaping. They were fogging it. I had cloud envy. I went over and asked them how that was possible. The guy had clearly been drinking alot...but I managed to understand him saying "sub ohm". I was proud of my new itaste mvp v2. He pretty much told me to smash it with a rock and throw it in the gulf. He tried to get me to try his but Im a severe germophobe.

My aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer. Cigarettes are bad. Our goal was to quit smoking any way we could. My wife was not a fan of my first method...Levi Garrett chewing tobacco.

I was a professional quitter.....cold turkey, several times (lasted about 24 hrs before I became semi-homicidal...lol), tried patches, gum, both pills, hypnosis and acupuncture. Had I known I could quit after smoking for 36 years with one tiny eVod, I would have tried years ago. I still have my little eVod sticks, I love them for saving my life! I have 3 mods now, one is vv/vw, the other 2 only are vv. I have my dream battery now, I have coveted a ProVari since I started vaping. I tried a box mod, doesn't feel right in my hand, but kudos to those that love them. I decided that I'm going to personalize all of my gear...lol....I have color co-ordinated tanks, charms, and drip tips. I can switch up to suit my personality. My gear works for me, and have friends trying to push me into dripping, but that's not for me. Not now, anyways. I'm happy with what i have, it works for me, and for now, I'm a non-smoker, just celebrated my 6 month mark.

Lol....see, I would never belittle someone else's gear, that's just mean! The goal is to "not smoke", right?

Smok m80 - Temp control, usb charging, fires damn near anything, great build quality ($50-80 depending where you buy)
Lemo - Great single coil tank ($15-20) good flavor, clouds, and easy to build on
Kayfun 3.1 or es clone - ($10-20) great for mouth to lung hits, great flavor, kinda small to build on
Scar RDA - ($10) Cheap dripper for trying flavors, mouth to lung hits only
Purchased all 4 recently, and am very satisfied.

Thanks. I just googled the smok 80. I like it alot judging by the specs and reviews. 80 watts would leave me a good bit of growing room

I have the V2. I think its 15w. Im not at all displeased with it. I am displeased that I paid almost as much for this as a3.0 would cost.

I skipped trying to find a tobacco flavor and went right for the fruits. Apparently tobacco flavored juices usually taste like eating the tobacco from a cigarette. Not what I was looking for. Bombies Seven Seas is my All day vape, and my wife loves their White Gummy Bear flavor. Their Bacco B is supposed to be a good complex tobacco flavor. I also have a sample of A Real Nightmare that is supposed to be a flavored tobacco mix. sounds interesting.
