Hey everyone. I'm new to the site but am not new to vaping (sort of) I have:
  • Aspire pegasus + Triton 2
  • Kangertech K box + subbox mini
  • Kangertech Dripbox 60w
  • Kangertech protank 3 (and some battery I got with it 3 years ago or so)
  • Ego Aio
I'm having a hard time kicking the cigarette habit still even with all this equipment. I have about 16 flavored fluids as well.

just wanted to say hello as I'm new and any advice i can get from people would be much appreciated!

Thanks very much

Hello there, TrentChip416! Congrats on trying to quit the cigs. If you don't mind my asking, why are you trying to quit?

More questions. What is the nic level of the juices you currently have? How much did you smoke in a day (before you started vaping)? Do you enjoy the juice you have?

Hi Trent! Welcome to ECF!

First of all, don't beat yourself up about still smoking a couple of analogues.
Lots of people have... I have as well.
Give it some time... If it doesn't come naturally there's several things you can do (in order of escalation):
1. Up your nicotine. Either by way of higher-mg e-juice or by inhaling more vapor.
2. Try NETS (naturally extracted tobacco liquids)
3. Have some Snus temporalily (swedish dipping-tobacco)

hi

here's what is working for me:
association.. I smoked more when driving(yes I road rage, I'm a redhead!), so I vaped instead. I did this with working on one association at a time... okay this is when I smoke/makes me want to smoke... chain puff instead.
though i've been vaping since early july, so far now it's been 2 weeks for seriously not buying smokes, I've only slipped a few times. beating yourself up leads to failure, you lose the incentive, be happy with each minute/hour/day/week/month and eventually year youy can take away.. even if it's not all the time.

Welcome home ^_^

I feel your pain, i'm also a dual-user although it's not cigarettes i'm smoking and my ejuices have no nic.
I think you have to stay positive and be proud of smoking less than you used to and use that as a lever to eventually stop smoking.

I find that tasty ejuices helps a ton, I don't feel like smoking when I can vape something that blows my taste buds away.

Welcome Trent.
I started vaping last Xmas and gave up smoking only last Friday so there's no hurry. I figured I wanted to learn what the best way for me to vape was, best juices, devices, etc before committing to quitting the analogs. The juice I was vaping was 6 mg while the cigs I was smoking were 8 mg. There was not enough nic in it to satisfy my cravings but the 6 mg was where I hope to end up, if not lower, so it was a fine place to get used to vaping.

To quit I ordered in 18 mg juice and it dosen't take many draws before your nic craving is satiated and even the thought of smoking a cig is unappealing. It really dosen't take much will power at all though you do have to want to quit. Think about how it feels to chain smoke 3 cigs and think of lighting up a 4th. It dosen't take will power not to light it up and vaping can make it that easy to avoid. Give yourself time if you need to as not everyone can quit on the first vape and you may as well be an experienced vaper when you will need it the most.
Good luck with it and keep us all appraised of your progress.
