Hi everybody

I joined in hope of getting a little smarter in the vaping universe. For roughly a month ago I quit cigarettes and got my first vaping kit, a smok Stick V8, aaand.. well, lol, now I got a SMOK AL85, a SMOK QBOX TC (kinda regret that one) and, the newest adition to my arsenal: the SMOK G150. I haven't ventured to other brands - yet - but, I guess I'm getting pretty familiar with the basics, under SMOKs territory, I guess.

The biggest reason for reaching out to this community is to try and master the best flavour, combining the right power, using the right Watt and the right coils.. pretty much everything, hehe. I'm not so clear yet on all the technical terms, so bear with any stupid questions as they appear

I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time here!

Welcome to the forum and quitting smoking.

Today day 27 for me, also started with Stick V8. Solid kit within it's limitations. Got two V8s actually so would have a spare. Then jumped straight to Smok GX2/4 day 10. (in 2 batt mode like an Alien 220w in 4 batt mode like GX350) Got a friend started vaping - off cigs 10 days ago one my V8s, still have the other. But ordered a 2nd GX2/4 today to have as a backup so then will likely pass on my other V8.

Welcome to ecf Uncle. It may take awhile getting the lingo here down, but you will get the gist of it all pretty quick.

Hi Uncle,

Congrats on quitting smoking, that's fantastic. It only gets easier... Might want to try looking at the subforum New Members Information and check out some of the pinned threads there as a place to start.

As far as DIY, I have just started doing that and it's really enjoyable. And way easier than I thought! The DIY forum is a great place to start as far as protocols, buying the necessary supplies, etc.

Congrats again on quitting smoking, it's not easy at the start so you should feel very good about yourself. ECF is a great place to branch out and find new mods and combinations, though it sounds like you are doing GREAT with your current setups.

I am living proof that there are no dumb questions on ECF. I posted (a bit back, I'm having oral surgery) that I was planning to vape nose-to-lung (no suction in mouth, it's bad) and I recieved tons of useful tips, ideas and thoughts. If you can get helpful responses to a question like that, I am going to declare a forum the *winner*.

Welcome, glad you are here ..... The only stupid question is the one that is never asked..... You sound like you are getting off to a good start with your vaping.... Congrats on quitting the death sticks.
