Ah thank you! My other battery is a Samsung 2700mah also 3.7V. I’m gonna try a .25ohm coil when I can. I remember liking that one but my vape shop is usually out of those so I’m stuck with .15 or .4 which I find flavorless.

Have you tried shopping online? Stuff is usually a little cheaper than a mom and pop shop.

At the top of any page here at ecf is a link that says 'suppliers'. These good folks and been vetted(kinda) by our members and find them to be very easy to work with. They also have their own 'forum's here at ecf.....

Thank you will check them out! I buy from a local vape shop. They pretty much brought ecigs to Hawaii back in 07 or so and they have a rewards program. I love to shop online but living in Hawaii we usually lose any savings on shipping charges.

Here’s an update:

Last night I switched to a .4ohm M2 coil and the numbers changed quite drastically. I’m only running 30 watts as of now (started at 20 to break it in) and I’ll push it to 40-45. The battery now shows 3.7v after a hit (was showing 3.2-3.1 with the .15ohm coil) and the amp draw went down from 22 or so to 9 or so. The result is much better battery life and a much cooler running mod. I am now convinced I did kill my first one for running too low resistance coil for the voltage. I’m thankful my battery didn’t vent or worse blow up because it did get very hot from time to time. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and great tips!
