    ► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA; Packaging:
    This time, the DR4's packaging features a simplified design; Completely red with decorative gold lettering and a surface texture made of lines engraved on the cardboard that intersect in a mysterious way. On the front, in addition to the gold identifying lettering, you can glimpse the DR4 through a transparent window. The back of the package features the specifications, packing list, logos and trademarks, a scratch and check, a sticker with the batch number, and the color of this sample. The remaining parts of the package include the name of the vaporizer (Dead Rabbit 4 RDA), a barcode, and the slogan "Evolve your vaping genius."

    ► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA; First Impressions:
    The Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA is the latest evolution of the original, successful Dead Rabbit series. Hellvape claims it took them four years to develop this version, which is currently the most advanced, and we'll see why later. When you hold the DR4 RDA for the first time, you'll find yourself in a robust and attractive vaporizer in true Hellvape style. The steel base features extensive laser-cut lettering and houses either a solid or perforated pin, both gold-plated and insulated. With a 24mm diameter, the Dead Rabbit 4 RDA is compatible with the vast majority of standard and BF mods on the market.

    ► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA; How it's made;
    The Dead Rabbit 4 RDA is a vaporizer that retains many aesthetic features of the Dead Rabbit line, but this time the design is less flashy. Compared to the previous DR3, the new DR4 RDA is much more compact and has a more serious and professional look, especially compared to the DR3 Joker Edition. You can still see the Dead Rabbit logo and the "Dead Rabbit 4 RDA" lettering, which blend neatly and without too much contrast on the DR4's casing. The top cap features a textured finish to improve grip during disassembly or when adjusting airflow. You also have a 510 drip tip adapter and two different 810 drip tips, one with a metal base and an AG+ antimicrobial band, and the other low-profile resin drip tip.

    ► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA; AFC:
    The Dead Rabbit 4 RDA has two sections for airflow regulation; the first section, which I'll call the top cap, houses the drip tip. It has two slots on one side and two on the opposite side. These slots adjust the honeycomb-patterned holes on the internal chamber. The internal chamber has a series of 10 holes on each side (20 holes total).

    You can then rotate the top cap to increase or decrease the airflow by four holes at a time. The top cap features rotation locks that are useful when you need to separate it from the internal chamber. I really like the rotation lock, which allows for easy screwing on and off of this RDA from mods.

    To perfectly adjust the airflow, you can insert the 510 adapter (included) and use your favorite 510 drip tip. This is really useful for single coil setups and for a tight, flavorful RDL vape. Cloud chasers can also use the two different 810 drip tips included in the box.

    ► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA; 2-in-1 Postless Deck:
    The Dead Rabbit 4 RDA's postless deck offers good e-liquid capacity with wide and deep wells, allowing for a few extra puffs before dripping again. Two sturdy O-rings on the side of the deck ensure it's airtight from side leaks. Furthermore, over-squonking with BF mods is quite unlikely given the considerable depth of the well and the relatively high airflow placement. The coil clamping screws are located on the side and require the included flathead screwdriver. The included coil tool is very useful for cutting the legs to the appropriate size. This deck is perfectly sized to accommodate two coils, but the real innovation of this beautiful postless deck is the reduced empty spaces with a single-coil adapter. This is easily installed thanks to a small pin that fits into a hole in the negative terminal and then tightens with the side screw.

    In the dual-coil configuration, I cut the legs of the NI80 Clapton Coils to 5mm in length to position the center of the coils in line with the airflow. I believe this is the optimal solution for maximizing airflow on the coils. After inserting the coils, I tightened the screws and straightened both NI80 Clapton Coils. I then activated the coils, checking for hot spots. I inserted the cotton strands and cut their ends, taking the outer edge of the tank as a reference. I then inserted the cotton strands into the intake slots, and finally raised the cotton slightly, giving it a slight curve. In the single coil configuration, after installing the adapter, I left the legs longer and, after straightening the coil, I thinned the cotton slightly by cutting the ends just below the outer edge of the tank. I then inserted the cotton strands into the wells.

    ► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA; Vaping Test & Final Conclusions:
    Careful construction, excellent fit, and perfect O-ring sealing are factors to which Hellvape has long accustomed us. This RDA is completely disassembled for thorough cleaning. As I mentioned in my review, I really like this vaporizer for its clean, serious design. Furthermore, thanks to the single-coil adapter and 510 drip tip reducer, many people might be interested in making it "unique and personal" for effective RDL vaping when paired with a single-battery 21700 mod.

    In single coil mode, I obtained a resistance value of around 0.37Ω, so I selected a wattage of 35W and installed a 510 drip tip using the included adapter. While vaping, I really appreciated the concentrated flavor that the DR4 configured in this way is able to guarantee. With the AFC open to 100%, the flavor remains concentrated and the vapor clouds are dense and abundant. With the AFC open to 50%, the flavor is more concentrated, and the draw noise is contained. The air contrast seems perfect. By further reducing the airflow, you can achieve a more intense throat hit without excessively increasing the temperatures. The cotton feeding is very good; you just have to remember to drip e-liquid through the drip tip every now and then. The Dead Rabbit 4 is a massive RDA with rather thick metal walls, which allows it to effectively absorb and dissipate the heat generated by the dual 0.37Ω NI80 Clapton coils (the final resistive value is approximately 0.18Ω). With this dual coil configuration, I found myself comfortable selecting wattages between 50W and 65W, staying at 50W for the longest time. The coils activate quickly without delay and without requiring excessive power. The maximum achievable airflow is open, but not too much. This allows for flavor loss while still obtaining large clouds of vapor. By playing with the airflow adjustment, you will surely find your sweet spot for maximum flavor. I liked the Dead Rabbit 4 RDA and recommend it because it's like having two atomizers in one! With the included accessories, you can easily achieve a perfectly balanced single coil configuration. Or you can configure the Dead Rabbit 4 RDA in dual coils and get maximum DL performance. The Dead Rabbit series has always delivered exceptional performance to its loyal customers.

    Thanks for reading.

    Thank you to HellVape for sending me the Dead Rabbit 4 RDA for review:
