Hi, today we are going to take a look at the Hellbeast rta sent to me by Hellvape. I will examine in this Test each of the features that distinguish this vaporizer. I hope that at the end of this reading you will have understood this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience. ► Hellvape Hellbeast rta; Before starting, let's see together some special features indicated by the manufacturer:

The box is proposed in the classic Hellvape orange color and this time with the addition of a touch of black. On the front there are; the logo, the image of the tank, the color indications of this sample and the identifying writings of the product (Hellbeast RTA). The characteristics, the parameters, the contents of the package, various logos and brands are all listed on the back side of the box. In the other parts of the package there are; the identification number 2505 assigned to this product, the motto of Hellvape (Evolve your vaping genius), the logo of the Hellbeast Buffalo, an adhesive label with the serial number and the scratch&check for anti-counterfeiting control.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Introduction:
When it comes to design Hellvape always manages to hit the mark with its products, and it does so with style, trying every time to also technically improve the previous devices, demonstrating commitment and passion. Improving a good RTA is not easy, what you can do is try to make it easier to rebuild, use quality materials, reduce operating temperatures, or obtain a wider AFC adjustment possible to capture the smallest nuances of flavor. For this review Hellvape sent me two different color versions, one "Matte Black" and the other "Gold". Given the Hellbeast RTA's vocation to produce large clouds, the first thing I thought of was to install it on a Dual Battery Mod that is able to unleash its full potential without running into problems of limited autonomy. However, the limited dimensions of 25mm at the base allow for easy installation on most mods on the market.

The Tank is completely removable for deeper cleaning operations, and is composed of;
• Low profile 810 Drip Tip
• Top cap with quick 1/4 turn opening

• Bell with two slots for e-liquid passage and 30 internal airflow holes
• AFC ring with 50 honeycomb holes
• Replaceable straight glass tube

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Top and bottom:
The base with its 25mm diameter has some writing on it; disposal logo, legal mark, product name, in the center on the threaded thread there is an adjustable and insulated gold-plated pin. The upper part sees the presence of a low-profile Drip Tip, replaceable with any other 810 Drip Tip.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Materials and decorations:
Hellvape sent me two different models for this test, one in "Matte Black" color and the other in "Gold" color. Built in aluminum alloy with an anodized finish, they are visually attractive. Hellbeast RTA has a weight of only 69g, and to tell the truth, I expected this tank to be more massive. On the body of Hellbeast there are grooves, at the top to facilitate the removal of the top cap, and at the bottom to facilitate the removal of the base.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Airflow regulation:
The external airflow regulation is done through an AFC Ring separable from the tank, equipped with rotation stops, the ring appears precise and well braked during the regulation. This AFC system allows a large airflow for deep DL aspirations but also offers a good restriction of the airflow for RDL. A cloud atomizer must be able to allow an abundant airflow towards the coils, for this reason Hellvape has equipped Hellbeast with 50 holes on the external ring, and 30 holes inside the bell near the coils. The rotation of the AFC ring offers the possibility of having 10 different regulation combinations, counting on an arrangement of the holes with a honeycomb design with progressive opening.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Refil:
In these images you can see the two large and convenient slots for refilling e-liquid (4.5ml), a large white silicone gasket ensures the hermetic closure of the Top-Cap, on the same Top Cap there are strategic grooves to facilitate quick opening/closing of the top Cap at 1/4 turn.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Bell:
To better describe what I have already partially anticipated, in the image below you can see the internal part of the Hellbeast RTA bell. Inside the bell there are two opposing rows of 15 holes each to direct the daily flow of air towards the coils, furthermore there are two small slots to control the distribution of the e-liquid from the tank above to the coils below. This "falling" system of the e-liquid seems like a good idea to me; it limits the overfeeding of the cotton, and keeps the liquid isolated and cool from the heat of the coils.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Build:
After rotating and extracting the deck, you need to take; a wire cutter, and in the package you will find the flat screwdriver, the coil tool, the two Clapton Coil resistors in Ni80 0.37Ω. Now you are ready for the build operations. After cutting the legs of the coils to a length of 5mm and inserting them into the appropriate holes on the postless-deck, you need to do this; tighten the screws, straighten the coils, activate the coils to remove any hot-spots, then you can prepare to insert the cotton laces provided in the package.

After installing the coils you have to insert the cotton buds into the slots, unfortunately this is a bit of a difficult task, this is because the slots of a 25mm deck for space reasons cannot be very large, also to avoid dry draws, the cotton buds supplied by Hellvape are really big and must be thinned out a lot to be correctly inserted into the tanks. Surely two thinner cotton laces would have made this operation easier and shorter. Once this is done, wet the cotton with the liquid, reposition the deck, open the top cap with a quarter turn, fill the tank with the liquid, reposition the top cap, adjust the AFC ring according to your needs, and you will be ready to start creating large and dense clouds of vapor.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Final conclusions:
I must admit that this time I was not able to quickly get in tune with this new vaporizer, fortunately the initial doubts and perplexities melted away like snow in the sun after I started using it. I immediately asked myself why Hellbeast RTA was made up of so many pieces, and if there was really a need for it. Dismantling these pieces one by one, I realized the actual usefulness of being able to count on so many detachable pieces, for example; the positive turret is separable and this is always an advantage for properly carrying out periodic cleaning. The chimney is also separable from the bell, and the bell is the real strong point of this tank. Initially, here too, I ran into some doubts, and the main question was; why is the number of holes in the bell less than the number of holes in the ring? I imagined the answer plausible after I noticed the internal design of the bell where there are holes, this design has a gap between the internal wall and the external wall. According to my intuition, this creates different angles and directions of the airflow depending on the degree of opening of the ring. To finish the discussion on the bell; I really liked the solution of the two slots in the upper part of the bell (or bottom of the tank), this "drip" system keeps the e-liquid separated from the heat generated by the coils to the advantage of a prolonged and greater purity of flavor. The small 25mm diameter Deck all in all guarantees good manual ability during the construction phase, only the cotton laces are too big for the dual coils configuration. While for the single coil configuration, the cotton lace seems better sized. I really liked the airflow system, finding it largely satisfactory for the cloud, and also silent and ultra adjustable for RDL. With the supplied resistors and with a selected power of 45W, the vapor production is abundant and tasty. I like to reproduce a rather large DTL Puff using large openings of the AFC. I am using an e-liquid with 3mg/ml of boost, and with the partial airflow the throat hit shoots up. Finally Hellbeast RTA with its small diameter of only 25mm easily finds a place on the majority of Mods, and with its excellent flavor rendering it is certainly an excellent choice.
